Ok, I played a s**t load tonight. I made a 700 dollar profit tonight! But that's neither here nor there. I want to point out that I checked the shark scope ability level on some of the guys I played tonight... HA! If you read my previous post, this guy I was playing for 200 sit and goes was HORRIBLE. I mean the easiest opponent EVER. His ability level was 93 on sharkscope. Same with some other people I looked up tonight. Sometimes it's vice versa. There's a good player who has an ability level of 65 or so. I think it's 80% purely based on profit. Every idiot gets lucky once in a while I guess... Or not... I don't really know. But, anyway... It all seems very inconsistent to me.

Strategy, hmmmm. I really just play to my opponent. You have to always adapt and change to the settings around you in poker. You can't be too one dimensional. There of course are player types I'm good against and types that don't suite me. For example: I personally hate psycho raise everything call everything players. I suck at playing against those types. Bluffs don't exist. I mean, I just try and know what my opponents have and bet against what I think they'll call. You gotta try and turn it into a skill game and win a little bit at a time; not a lot all at once (something I used to suck at). You gotta try and make it not too unpredictable... Stakes: anything from 20 to 500. It depends on my mood. Usually between 50 and 100. I prefer heads up sit and goes. Then I like 6 handed sit and goes. I hate 10 for some reason. I'm starting to get better at double ups. But, it took me awhile. It's a totally different strategy then regular sit and go. It's just the top 50%. So, I try and get a healthy lead early then play even and let the other players knock them selves out. Also, I'm starting to get into tourneys. I never used to be. I came in 9th in an 82 dollar buy in 5000 guaranteed tonight. I was kind of pissed. I made a pretty bad call with AK h h on an all in call. But, to my credit he was relatively low stacked. But, he had 66 and I just didn't hit. Down hill from there. But, ya man. It's all about the tourneys/ sit and go for me. I hate cash games.

If you are youngbaboon on FT, your stakes are about right (av. $98). We've heard a lot of Bull online, so it helps to add a screnshot now and then. Most players here don't play those higher limits, and some like to brag when apparently they can't even play a decent $2 S&G. We've seen a few of those come and go...

What does it matter if it happened or not, it's not about that.
Youngbab: It is about profit offcourse, they're not gonna analyze your play and then assign you a rating.
Yes it matter, we had enough example off brag post in the past which never happend. In this case, this player has NO sample size he just played 2 or 3 $200 games thats all. He claiming to be a high stakes player which he is totally NOT. thats no problem for me, but many low limit players take him as an example which is very wrong cos he is a very bad example.

There are some games sharkscope will just not track, others that will show up very late...and still it will be off by some...it is really a guideline, you cannot expect it to be your personal DB

Posted by stojaca: I dont use sharkscope. It's unaccurate and is based on profit.
it isnt based on profit, someone who wins one $5000 heads up isnt going to have a higher ability than someone who wins 2000 $1 DoN in a row
& I remember Dozn1 posting like Ivey & Dwans sharkscope before and their ability was just average the same as mine in the 60s & I definitly dont make as much profit as them

i think all of these pages are a bit confused. I refer to PTR. There it even says i have lost about 1500$ on Partypoker (i think 1500 was the amount it said). The funny thing is: I never ever played for money at PartyPoker at all
Just 1 question, giv us ur accountname and network and we can check
check mine on ipoker network says im on tilt lost about over$400 lol, but in the last couple of months i won two big freerolls totalling over $500 and cash it out and other little freerolls , see my other threads with screen shots so you can check,
i know im up on ipoker but it looks like it doesnt show your money won from freerolls........ only cash and tourney game for stats so its unrealible
