well we did it again!! played my normal poker doubled my stack in 2 sessions and then had a few drinks,, bad idea as the amber nectar heated the blood the calls got more colourful the raises optimistic and the bluffs transparent, oh dear how many times will we do this before we learn,lol,, now the plan was yes have a few drinky poos, but drop down to 1$ double ups have some fun in the pond with the fishys, and what do we do , yes we jump in the dep end with the sharks, and boy did they bite,,,,,,

yes I agree we know all the maths all the bankroll management and we have had our share of lectures,lol, but we are only human well I was the last time I looked , its fine we are grinding away and I think I have turned the corner got of to a bad start with some bad beats but we live in hop,,lol,,,,

funny to read. i think for some peeps is alcohol like a weapon to get loosen. a bit is OK imo, the problem is: it works well and i feel confident and play well, but i dont stop drinking, and after a couple glas whisky i start feeling unbeatable and play like a maniac. my solution: use a pokerrom u have no money at, only deposit a small amount and have fun.......if you cant leave the drinking

well I agree if taking to excess alcohol can do damage but I like a drink now and then I do make mistakes at the poker when to much is taking but I usually dont bust out and am an above standard player when on my game I will get it back am grinding away as can be seen , now am on a break and away to have a small one,lol,,and thats all!, lol

Ohhhh, I know this one.
Not long ago I was watching some High Stakes Poker with Tom Dwan. Later that night I got really wasted, logged on to my PKR account and in some strange kind of way thought I was Dwan. Or something like that...
Well, to make a long story short, I think I will try to email Dwan and ask for my 125 $ back.
Two or three weeks of playing down the drain...
I try to stick to 2,5 € DoNs when I'm drunk, but it's soooooo easy just to try a little CG.
Well, I will never get the Nobel prize for the highest IQ around, I guess...

I have some bad experience with Alcohol + Poker and I lost some money, not much but I lost. But some time ago in evening I play 1 freeroll and drink in the same time, at the end of freeroll I was most of time on second place, but I was unlucky and was out my top pait vs set. But anyway I win some money, but not so much how expect.

Alcohol + Poker = you will lose money lol. I do not drink more at a beer if I am about to play poker. I do not want to lose my money drunk. Important: do not drink if you drive or you play poker!
