Why?
Kristan, just asked the question. Didn't imply anything by it. Sorry that some people overreacted.
Yep, no problem man, I understand your curiosity and I find it weird also myself, that rake is showed as 0, but I checked it and its the same 0 in every other hand history I have ordered from them. But they do take rake from every hand played. Weird indeed

Posted by Kristan: I dont know how much of you play for this kind of cash, but think now does this person is mentally ill or not . Ask yourself - would you call 300$ bet after turn with 45? its 80/20 - lose 32k to win 8k
As for him, doesn't his logic mean that he can perform such a bluff time to time? I mean going all-in while holding nothing? It seems he thought that you did.

Posted by EimsbushKing: and then you overbet the turn extremly obv to shutdown the hand.
postflop......what is postflop.....
Why would I want to shutdown the hand
I know you are younger than me and maybe you havent red some books or dont know much at all about poker so I will make you a short example of what is postflop and WHY I BET LIKE THAT (because it really irritates me when someone comes up with something so stupid to ask, and thinks hes the smartone) -->
Specific Examples of Post-Flop PokerBetting Strategies
The following are some recommendations on how you should bet and play post-flop:
• A monster hand - witch is what I had - you now read it carefully, so you wont ask such stupid question never again!!!!!!
If you flop a nut, rejoice. Your objective in this case is to increase the size of the pot. You can play it slowly after the flop (check and call but do not raise or re-raise). However, if you have already raised pre-flop, you should just continue with the same tack; changing your strategy post-flop will be a clear signal to the other players that you are holding the nut.
• An okay hand - JJ or above to snowmans or 7s. - this is just another sample of postflop play for your education! If you have an okay hand, then you can play your hand in different ways. If you have a medium pair and the flop has revealed medium cards, then chances are high that you are still in the game. You can continue as you have so far; for instance, play aggressively if you have been playing aggressively pre-flop
Did this help you understand what is postflop?

No. He told me, he was gonna chase the straight. Few days earlier he told me he is casino gambler.

Didn't he also tell you he had a "DAin braMAGE" or smth. like that before? I am sorry for being impolite, but this is ridiculous. Reminds me of some Bob Ciaffone's stories stories about straight-hunters.

Posted by Kerdisas: Kristan, do you play also in some major online poker-rooms? If so, could you invite me someday to watch your play against serious opponents?
you joking over me right?
I play in pkr.com yes. Omaha hi cashgames in 50 & 100pl tables max and some reguar tourneys time to time. But as for the serious opponents , pkr biggest names dont play that low stakes as I do. I feel confident in 100nl tables and am not looking to move higher.

I am not joking for sure.
I was asking about Holdem... but I play Omaha Hi mostly, too (I guess you meant "pl", not "nl" ). I am a low-limits beginner and I mostly read books than play around the moment. So why do you think it is a bad idea for me to watch a good game? You know, I am pissed off with all these raises and reraises on pre-flop in OPL low limits!

Ment pl yes, you are right . nl would be little ourtrageous lol. I dont think its bad idea at all to watch other players, but I do think if you want to learn some tips, then there are some really good pros out there who tape their sessions and invite players to watch them playing online also. I cant mention the sites here, as its against forum rules, but if you google little, youll find them for sure .
About raises-reraises - its the same basically in every stake in plo (but imho - it is much worse indeed in lower limits), thatswhy the pots are regularly close twice as big as in nl hold em also. And therefore up&downswings may also be very big in omaha.
What poker site do you play if its not a secret? Have you tried pkr.com?

Posted by Kerdisas: no, haven't tried it yet. would you recommend it? I play at RedStar and NoiQ mostly...
what concerns raises - i understand it is ok. i just cannot get in mind how can people raise in Omaha each time BEFORE they see the flop!
p.s. wont the godfather punish us for offtopic? )) but i don't see private messages here =(
Yup, definately check it out. Its the best poker site so far with bonuses, reload bonuses, member levels, extras and great rewards & crasy vip party invitations starting from gold level (such as wsop private pkr party at Mandalay Bay this year) and live event . Very friendly and takes well care of its players.
Well, I play 6 handed tables and also agressive. And in most cases wether you raise or not, you will still get called by limpers, unless there is no potsize reraise preflop. I often think its only few $ more to see the flop, but playing every hand is def. -ev and gets you more bad beats than ever - ive learned that many times when I started and went broke lol.
Dont know what godfather does now, but guess I could throw you my mailaddress so can add you later on in msn.

Posted by shokaku: I guess he put you on two high cards, like AK. This is heads up, he has a pair and a gutshot. Don't know how aggro the play was in the hands before.
