Anyone tried this yet?
I did today, you get $3 for free when you sign up (no deposit needed, no waiting time, no nothing ). Anyway it's a totaly different way of poker.
For instance: You play with 4 people, 2 tables of 2 people. On both tables the same hands are dealt. So for example, you have player A and B on table 1, C and D on table 2. Played A and C get the same hands, and played B and D get the same hands. The winners will be: A or C (who has the highest stack after 6 hands), same goes for B and D.
This way it doesn't matter if you have a bad hand, because it's only about how you play the hand.
I hope my description is kinda understandable
Anyway, I like this way of Poker, although I wouldnt do it for real cash, just for fun!

I tried playing it a couple weeks ago. It totally confused me. I still have no idea what was going on. I did see that you have to keep track of what place you are in against other people at the other tables. I didnt last but maybe half an hour.

I´ve tried this, actually we´ve discussed this site before somewhere in the forum and we reached an understanding that although it is nice to theoratically win based on how well you played the hand, it is also very easy to cheat this system, using collusion. If you have a friend who is on the other "team" he can easily tell you the hand and of course, you will know exactly how to play against it.

Posted by Avalonn: Hmm, thats true indeed. Kinda blows away the whole system :o
I just hope that noone gets any ideas from this! This information has been shared for educational purposes only! I guess that´s how people say it right?
I have never applied this knowledge to cheat the system, I simply know how it works in theory.

Hehe well, I wasn't planning on playing there again anyway but didn't think about the fact that it's easy to cheat yet But your right, kinda stupid they didn't think of it themselves!

I think everyone has heard of this site. I think its really a dumb site in my honest opinion only because what if your player A and a friend of yours is player D then you know your opponets hand. So you can beat them. Explain to me how you prevent this from happening if anyone knows

Yeah true, thats prolly also the reason only 300 people or so are online on that site.. But I'd rather play normal poker anyway. Only when I saw this today I liked the idea.. but when you think about it it's just stupid indeed
------------ Oh btw, aren't you put in the tables random positions, this way you have to try a few times before you are sure you and your friend are player A and D.

Of course, but the point is that cheating is so much higher at this site I believe than any other poker site. I mean the idea of this site is to play better and get your money in better and such. I like it somewhat but I have more things I dont like about the site

Yea it is too easy to get cheated on. It should just be a fun site. I sur wouldnt deposit on it. I dont see how they say that is a legal game and regular hold em isnt here in the states.

After playing for about 20 minutes and not realizing what i was doing. i wanted to write a letter to them saying how incredibly dumb it was. I would keep flopping fullhouses and losing to bigger full houses kinda confused me. Didnt like the whole duplicate idea, pretty rigged if u ask me.

Duplicate poker is kind of like a lottery i think xD since both tables has the same cards it confuses me a bit with the rules and all, didn't like it at all although, sometimes i thought i lost but then i wont the tournament, weird thing lol

Ive got 3$ on DP 3 months ago and i played it up to 33$ and then i maked a withdraw!...And the only way to cash out was by sending a check!..
And in sweden we need to pay around 25$ to cashout from a check..so i would get 8$ +...not worth it..so i dropped the check right into the trash!... But as i say i got the check but it isnt worth to cashout smallar amounts than 150$..

If you ask me it's worth it, any amount that is free is worth it and besides you worked hard for that money. Anyway you should have waited until you've got more money on DP before making a withdrawal.
