I didnt think it stoped you from playing outher countries, Is it not just operators to be licensed in France? Wich actually contravene EU rules on free movement and trade. UL Pitiless

Btw - its not only n France. Estonia also had same problem in the beginning of this year and for some time to some poker sites the access was denied, but somehow they managed to bend the law and its ok now.

We gonna have a PartyPoker just for us, like partypoker.FR like the italians, did you ever played with an italian? probably no
all the other websites will have to create those .FR rooms...
France is gonna be away from the world poker action online... that sucks, I didn't even played my 300K GTD at party poker, they probably gonna chance my ticket pour T$, since I don't think that there will be a 300K for us
there is already people working on a way to change the law once again, so we can play with the world, but still, 2% more rake is just insane
so far there are few rooms accepted, like winamax (french site) that will be open on .FR too, only the 29th June the real money will be working anyway..

Ahh I see your going the italian route, that sucks. The law is supid, im sure it was only ment to be targetting on-line gambling sites and no poker sites, so FT and PS should be OK, even party with a casino ban would be simple. But what can you do. Guess the extra 2% is actully stealth tax. (UL - Un Lucky)

Heh that's really sad i liked to play with people from france... But anyway i still see a lot of people from italia... so i think that some people from france will be still playing. But worst thing is that most of the weak players will give up... cause they don't care so much :/

Even the ones who made like 1k$ playing for year will stop, with 2% more rake those 1k$ become -1k$ maybe, really sad
Anyway, with the gaming french federation or whatever it is coming to the market, maybe it will attract more fishes, gonna try to play the game with like 50€ and see what happens
The way online poker's been challanged and attacked by politicians around the world, it seems to me that we are no longer living in a free democratic society but more in a totalitarian (FACIST) regime. Be careful of what u say and do cause u might get a midnight greeting from your local gov't anti terrorism unit.

It will be a little problem, but how now are poker rooms that accept players from USA, will be poker rooms that will accept from France. But of course it will be borring that you will cant play in poker rooms that you loved. Also I think will be a way to can play in youe loved rooms, just some imagination.

I'm guessing they were taking the piss about you complaining about a freeroll. Illustrating a point ironically I'd say.
