oh wow, thanks for info.. I was going by the forum on PKR, someone kept posting saying PKR keeping french. Hmm, wow, a LOT of the players on PKR are French, thats gonna seriously hurt PKR. That sux...

There's another thread in the french section of PKR, about this, which is longer than the lounge thread. However, I cant read french lol.

edit: Whilst this wont hurt any room like losing the French will, Australia is currently debating mandatory filtering done at ISP level. And they are discussing whether this ban on IP addresses would include poker rooms. The concern is, they're gonna say "YES" to banning online gambling (public will get behind this, with good reason too) and unfortunately poker is likely to be lumped in with this. And whilst, getting to banned websites may be as easy as using a web-based proxy server. This wouldnt be so easy for connecting to a poker room, and even if you used a VPN to do it, they poker rooms themselves may stop allowing aussie players. So currently im hoping these new filtering laws dont go through (for many other reasons also, they're pretty scary laws actually, think China).

For wot i know its the same as Italy did before, so u get pokerstars.fr, fulltilt.fr, party.fr, pkr.fr, french only play agianst french, like italian only play italian Sad
It sucks big time and there is more, more countrys gonna be like this, guess Belgium and some Scandinavian countrys are also in the pipeline, very bad news for small/middle traffic pokerrooms Disagree

yeh absolutely, those rooms rely on euro traffic. Not like the big rooms Stars/Tilt they can survive on the US traffic alone.

"Contacted partypoker support, they said they would make it up to me, give my buy-in money, but since there isn't a buy-in there, what gonna happen? ._."

I'm guessing they were taking the piss about you complaining about a freeroll. Illustrating a point ironically I'd say.

Or probably talking about my ticket to 300K GTD Sunday.. Tongue

@thread
they should put the european together, if it starts going crazy.. we are a fuckin union of countries for wars and whatever comes, and they will just stay away in poker? ._.

anyway, I will test the totally french rooms, gotta build a new startegy, like how to run away from Ax. -.-

I will just wait... and see what happens

PartyPoker = Fish
French = Fish
PartyPoker.FR = Double Fish

You're original post, what are you talking about $300K GTD?

"Now, french can't play agains't people in other countries, rakeback will be incresed in 2% also.

This is fuckin sad.

Now I will be missing the 1k freeroll of partypoker..

I'm really upset, gonna quit poker I guess.
