Hi all. I had an idea for a game we could play here in the forum. It's a bit like bingo only everyone has the same cards. The winner is the first person to meet all ten conditions below by playing NL hold'em on any online poker site.
1. Won a showdown with a pair of aces 2. Finished in the top 10% of an mtt or sng 3. Seen a straight flush at my table 4. Beat a full house with a full house 5. Made a backdoor flush 6. Flopped the nuts 7. Won a hand in the position of big blind 8. Shared a split pot 9. Seen a hand won with pocket 2s, 3s or 4s 10. Folded hole-cards of Qs or better with good reason
Some are quite easy and should be crossed off quite quickly. Others will take a while. You may wish to take pictures for evidence but mostly we will trust you not to cheat. Post back here now and again to let us know how you're doing. I have no idea how long this will take.
The rules 1. Only online poker counts 2. Only NL hold em cash games and tourneys for real money 3. To avoid donkfests and bingo-like poker freerolls are also not counted 4. Conditions 3 and 9 do not require you to be involved in the hand but do require that you were dealt cards. You may or may not be the winner of the hand. 5. Condition 4 requires that you win the hand with a full house and that at least one opponent also had a full house, not counting split pots. 6. Condition 5 does not require you to win the hand or see a showdown but you must be in the hand until the river. 7. For condition 10 better than hole cards of QQ counts as KK and AA only. You must be dealt one of these three hands and intentionally fold them at some point during the hand and be able to justify your reasoning. 8. To win all ten conditions must be satisfied by one player from 10 July 2010 at 12 GMT. The winner is the first to post in this thread claiming the win.
sorry but it sounds too much of a blag for me, i just keep to my bonuses to clear, and winning money on the poker site than do this maybe other poker players have time to do this good luck thou
I have satisfied all ten conditions. I am posting this message to claim my prize. Please don't ask for evidence as you said I didn't need any and you trusted me.

Fair enough if people didn't like the idea but surely I didn't deserve the since i was only trying to come up with something new for the forum.
@ oll1e999 I did think about giving the winner some of my mob points but then proof would be needed to make sure it was fair, I wouldn't really want to offer the prize most people would want and I'd have to approve it with admin.
I was thinking that if admin approved people could put 100 points each into a pot for the winner but looks like this is another of my bad ideas that will never come to pass.

Hmm, I don't think I could be bothered.. I dunno why you got all those seems a bit harsh it was only an idea. Lol tis is what happens when you ask people to do stuff. with their time. ANGER!
TBH, if it could be moderated properly somehow and there was a prizepool involved (everyone chipped in 1000 mob points or something). Then maybe it'd be interesting.. But for no real reason, I'm not gonna bother taking screenies and without screenies.. I think you place to much trust in gamblers.

It's just too complicated - both to run and take part in. I don't want to be playing poker and changing the way I play a hand because I'm thinking about this competition. Maybe I've done 9 of the 10 and I call an all in on the turn chasing a backdoor flush and it misses. I could do this several times in the hope of landing a 10000 MobPoints (or whatever) prize, but by the time I hit a backdoor flush someone else has already won it.
Also, I'm an experienced Photoshopper. I could fabricate any evidence I want and you wouldn't be able to tell. If I can do it so can others and with a decent MobPoints prize as an incentive, I guarantee somebody will.

Certainly. If you post your login and password here, I will go into your account, open the cashier and take all your money . . . er, I mean take a screengrab.
It could take me several weeks to get back from Barbados so if it seems to be taking a while don't worry. Also, please don't be concerned that your Party balance is showing as $0 - this is because I've photoshopped it - all your money is still there really.

dnt think i'll be able to participate in something like this, looks like too much for me. and im too lazy to take screenshots for evidence of something like tht. and most importantly dnt think most people would like to reveal their nicknames at poker sites
