I have been there also. I swear it seems like when I first get on and see how the cards are flying thats how the whole night is. Im either hiting cards like crazy or the whole night is bad. I have hardly ever seen it change just because I get up and go to another table.

Thats good to hear SCDosset . I cant say I have ever hit Quads two hands in a row. What level were you playing 1-2 2-4. And how well did you end up by the end of the night, as far as how much did you win?
it was heads up 0.01 0.02, so i made almost no money, and in the space of an hour i had AA x2 KK JJ and i did my standard raise (heads up im raising every thrid hand) and all 5 times he folded
i ended up only being marginally up, but to get quads twice in a row made me happy

Yeah we all have been there, but here is where bankroll management is glowing light in the dark. Ive played at Full Tilt, and everytime im nearing releasing another $5.00 from bonus im in downswing, and everytime. I get drawn into hands which are mine at the begining and draws to others and always lost them. Tried strong hole cards routine aint working either. Only thing to do is wait go play somewhere else if you have to play, but best place to come in those times is BRM. Write a few posts after a badbeat, and you will feel much better and your bankroll wont suffer. Im playing SnG`s too and if i dont get into money twice in a row i take break. Play some freeroll if its available, anything but dont waste the money. And dont overwork your bankroll with high buyins thinking youll get easy money, usually its easy go money. There was some guy who said he was playing $20 or $25 buyin SnG with some $40 bankroll and he wonders how he bankrupted, I think he had better chances at Blackjack table.

I hate that. Thats how it was going for me last night in a tournament I was dealt AA two times out of six hands and I couldnt get no action, I even limped in the second time and after the flop was dealt. I bet the minimum bet and the other guy folded. But yes getting quads twice in a row is something special.
it really sucks when you get no action on your good hands, i had him set up perfectly for it too, i had raised then bet out the first two hands (one i floped top pair one i was just continuation betting) then i get dealt kings and im like brilliant he wont see it coming, so i raise and he folds, same thing happens with aces the very next hand. if he had of called and hit top pair i recon i could of felted him both times, o well

I know I have the same problem. If I am having a bad night, it is hard for me to put the cards down. I end up playing so long I cant see straight or think straight.
this is when a good freeroll or two helps, you can play al your steam away, not care if your a favourite or not and get all the kinks outa your game, even when you are just getting outdrawn it seem to affect your game
