on the top right of your key board next to the delete button press the (prtsc sysrq) button then go to your paint and paste it there, and you should see the screen shot .

there's a button on your keyboard called "Prnt scrn" in the top right somewhere. Press it when you have on the screen what you want to capture. Then open the "Paint" program (it comes with the windows), and press 'Control' button and 'V' together. Then go to File>Save and your picture. Voila, screenshot saved! I don't believe it was complicated, was it?

Posted by Almonds: thanks bothof you, that worked fine!
Alt + Prtscreen ... so you take a photo only with the table and not all the stuff you do or have on your desktop ... plus it's a better quality this way so you dont resize and chop yourself

If u have a Mac, it's ALOT easier. Shift-Command-4.... hold those 3 keys down, and watch your mouse pointer turn into crosshairs. Click & drag to "outline"/"highlight" (potato/potata) your snapshot. When u release ur clicker, you will hear the shutterbug.
