Looks like no one has a clue what he is talking about. I thought it might just be me.

Is this a set of statistics for a specific poker site cos I've never heard if it in general poker.

These are statistics from either Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker.

VPIP = Voluntarily Put Money in The Pot
PFR = Pre-Flop Raise
AF = Agression Factor

Don´t know enough about the statistics themselves to tell you whether they are good/bad.
Depends on the kind of game as well.
Sorry. Confused

jeeez
kinda just assumed that all poker players know and use those stats. they are what you need on players when it comes to making tough decisions and are really crucial. dont have my stats though, in the process of getting a copy of holdem manager

if you check 2+2 or similar poker-fanatical sites, if you DON'T post this info when getting a hand discussion/analysis then you'll be flamed off the thread.

I played a lot of 2$ and 5$ HU games, with a win rate of 70%...and my stats where smth like:
VPIP: 40%
PFR: 36%
AF: 2.8

Although you really have to pay more attention to the opponents stats than yours. and always adapt your game...If I know the opponent is a 3betting maniac, I prefer a limp because he will check most of the time (instead of 3betting my raise), and I raise only premium hands -> knowing he'll 3bet because then I'll push.
You should watch at ur opponents Fold to CBet %, and his river agg -> You'll pick up a lot of pots if his FvsCBet is high, and with not, just check the flop and bet the turn..also a high river agression means that he bluffs a lot, and you can call his river bets lighter (instead of folding to a big bet on the river)
All in all, you should look at the instructional videos at leak buster, it's all explained there (although manly for cash).
Thumbs Up

My stats would vary from game to game, something like this:

VPIP: from 20 to 70% ...70% I got when I was playing tight weak players

PFR: from 10 to 55% -> if you play a maniac, you should limp more and 3bet even more, also look out for his 3bet and PFR range as you can go/call allin with a higher range

AF: from 1 to 5 or even 6 (that's just rape -> not advisable Big Smile )
