Here is something very funny. Each time i have got a no depostis bonus I lost it all very quickly. i have been playing cash games 6/10 tables. But now I switched to SNG, 10 tables extreme and in the last 10 I won 7 and got two second places. and one 7 place (too bad I know) I simply dont know why I am so crappy at cash games and doing ok at SNG. Funny huh

Well, then you know what you should do, don't you? It's always better to win than to lose. Even though 10 SNG:s isnt really that much of an sample, but keep it up.
Besides, it's good for BRM if you don't donk your money away immideatly.

Play at tourneys and at cash is very different. Later streets don't matter that much in a tourney, as players stacks are quite low. This is different in cash games. Maybe you overvalue top pair hands in cash games.

I'll make this thread more interesting for all of us:
Money tables: 50%, pretty decent at winning AND losing
SnG's: I win probably 40%
Big tours: I won once.... lost 20+ other times, so... 2%. I can get rid of the noobs, but I always get down before the bubble... To stupid hands...
Freerolls: I OWN at freerolls, always get in the top, I can make $4 - $8 a day from freerolls (spending 12 hours playing poker), but will lose it all at other tours though. Besides, I can't play poker for 12 hours every day, so usually only do it once a month.

With cash games you need to have patience, its a slow grind, but like a snowball when you get up stakes things move faster, I find there are 2 main types of people at the cash games those looking for quick $ and those who are up for the grind, if you want quick doller ill grind it from you, IMO there is more to understand in poker to be a good cash game player. The key to SnGs is solid bankrollmanagment, varients is a bitch :}, unlike cash games you are forced to play, in cash you could easily dribble away the BB, also with SnGs there is security, if you tilt you cant re-load you will only lose what is already at stake, if you want to keep playing SnGs look up ICM. In short SnGs suit people who can deal with variance, want a bit of safety fo their bankroll and to be sucessful in the long run you must go out and learn the stratergy. Cash games are for those who want less variance dont mind a grind and to be sucessfull must constanty be changing thier game to suit the envrinoment(very diffrent to ICM)
You will probably just find you are out of your comfert zone at cash tables so dont play so well, keep to the SnGs untill you have a nice BR then give cash a stab...cash games are much more fun IMO.

I also fare better at SnG games (although to be fair im at very early stages of learning poker and it is just a bit of fun for me) If your doing that much better on SnG's then stick with em for a bit

You have to play more than 10 sng's to get real stats. 10 sng's says nothing. You can get lucky and win 20 sng's in a row but to win in the long term you have to be a good player. Play like 10 000 sng's and give us the stats
