And yes i folded.... Imo i am ahead on flop, we dont know how much? 60/40, 70/30? Maybe even more? So being ahead justify a call here? I totally lost it.... Still dont know if its a great laydown or a uber donk laydown Played so many games in my live but this 1 is doin my head in (also cos its $170 buyin true). For the record i came in 3rd for $300 but that not the point.

That's obviously a final phase.. I'd imagine you wouldn't be very far ahead. I think your best hope if you called that would be nut flush draw + 2 over cards..
If was a real donk, you might be facing an over pair.. But even then, you're not that far ahead..

I said in my other post that I would call here...I dunno, maybe it was a very tricky AA/KK move from him..although less likely..I think he would do this with an A9 or smth, definitely he doesn't have trip anything there, a jack would bet it..it's so weird..maybe a Tc8c would push here, but even then I think he would bet not shove, so unless I have a very good read on the guy as to he would do this tricky play with trips or the Tc8c, I would call this.
@jess : You're giving the guy way to much credit...I still think his line is fos (limp - shove ) I know he wouldn't be that far ahead, but thats like saying you would fold TT to AKo just for not being that far ahead..

Id guess (without knowing stas etc) that he is either A, in survival mode and was always going to shove on the flop TP sort of hands, with his stack he could also do it on good drawing cards such as QcTc, id guess if you called you would do so ahead but would be in a 60/40 or less situation. I say nice lay down.

i'd call here, simply cause it looks like a classic limp shove any flop with QQ+ as a shortstack. I really think he has QQ+ here and nothing else just trying to get some more chips from people who might limp in and hit top pair.
it's to much of a standard line with a high pocket that i would always call here. especially with 2Pair
think of it this way, he's short with 10bb and therefor will be shoving a wide range, yet here he makes a limp leaving him with 9bbs and he's almost in the blinds himself.
if he shoves this flop he's trying to either make you fold or hoping you would call cause he actually hit a set, but then if he shoves with a set or top2 even what the hell is he trying to get value from? as you can see even you fold your 2 pair so him getting value out of anything that doesn't beat him is close to zero.
i would call to see his QQ+ or a set, if it's a set he mindfucked the hell out of me.
I think i would have called but don't know if i really would have done this in a sng
had an similar experience in an nl50 cash game...utg limped in with pocket rockets i was the bb and flopped two pair with q-4 and i betted him down and went all in on the river and won the hand...oopps ok this wasn't similar (sorry) because my strange oppenent wanted to slowplay his rockets and was just calling it down lol

don't know yet , he could have had J 9 or just the J with a high card , anyway , i think i would have called this all in but your fold was also good because you still finished in the prizes , would have let you doubt or even regretting a lot more if you would have finished without a prize .

You played it safe.. but if you can check to wait turn, you can make a fullhouse.. or just make a little raise to wait the next cards... the good point is your position in tournment.. congratulations...

i bet out with that flop ... and call all in as well ... but saying that i have been so unlucky with this type of hand lately ... they call with top pair and either hit there kicker or worse still board pairs and i loose the hand ... poker grrr ...
you at least lost no chips ... if you bet and he pushed you probably fold so you would have lost those chips

yea i agree kristan im breaking the mouse to call that one, i dont know how you folded that to tell the truth. Ok if he had a set its unlucky, if he has a flush draw and hes told me well GL but im still calling. Then again alot think im a donk lmao but my stats are getting better but strange fold for me im ready to gamble in that situation. But you have a bigger BR than me and you took $300 so what can we say but keep up the good work but ffs man call the 2 pair

Yeh bit strange, in a MTT this is a no-brainer for me, bubble or not, fact was chipleader was toplead and 2/5 was close/close so guess my decision was made on that. Maybe TheDom is a bit rusty cos not playin much volume lately
