In Poker, of course. $50, but to me that's a lot to lose.
And I don't mean just playing one tourney, or a big cash table.
I mean playing lots of stuff: SnG's Rush Cash A Tourney (real short)
And I did it all in the last 3 hours! Lost EVERY hand, almost. Really.
AA, KK, QQ, Straights, Flushes, Full Houses. The only thing I didn't lose with today is Quads....because I didn't GET any!
Ok. My advice.... Stay AWAY from Rush!
It lulls you into thinking you can win at it, like the last few nights, and then....
BAM!!! It blows you out of the water. I went on Tilt for the 1st time EVER, and kept buying chips. Can't believe it. So I tried to play some SnG's to rebuild my bankroll, and Voilà! The rest happened... That's how you lose cash fast.
Anyway, now I know why cash games are dangerous, first-hand.
And I think this rant got it out of my sytem. Thanks for "listening".....

...but it's almost always a couple of days after I'm beaten to death by lady Variance that I win some very cool poker prize (either cash or ticket) and then I'm saying to myself: "Nah, just keep walkin'!"

Hey man. I´am a PRO in this "art"kkk i go tilt any times.. but the good side of this is that when you got new money in poker you search for lessons and learn about more strategies and bank management...

lo0l @ $50 in 3 hours.. If that's a bad run for you man, I wouldn't stress too much..
Hah - the other night I had a nice session of poker, then got incredibly drunk, loaded PKR's "deal or no deal' game and dropped $300+ from my roll in around 15minutes.
In poker, I think the most I've lost in an hour has been around $1k.

When lady variance keep you in her target there is no much to do ... but what, I think, is wrong is you played "lots of stuff".... just stick to the games you are more profitable ( or at least less loser ) when things go the wrong way.
and play everything in better days... at least it is what I do when I'm unlucky and can't stop playing
It happens; I try to keep under control my balance but oftes I slam my face against bad variance. In these cases it's better to play lower levels or limits or, better, to get away

Agree with Jess post here , dont stress about losing 50$ Jack, its nothing you cant build up again .
One thing I could suggest (ofc you know it yourself too lol), is dont play games mixed like that. If you play cash games, then stick the whole session to it, same with sng and tourneys.

LOL you lose and feel bad about it and everyone is bashing you saying it only $. $5 $10 $50 $500 $5k losing consistantly is horrid, but you will have that day when you win consistantly. I cant stay of RUSH so have deleted FT, I think they should bring out a self exclusion from it.
Yes, Rush poker is bitch - I cant play it anymore, i banned it from myself And if you are in tilt, you HAVE to close the client and go out. I have a rule that if I lose 5 buyins - Sng's or in CG - i turn it off for that day...

don't know, but sometimes I think about continuous bad beats this way: Suppose we throw a 10-sided die, I get numbers 1 through 8, the other guy gets 9 & 10. Here's a sample of throws: 2, 6, 7, 9, 3, 3, 1, 8, 4, 10, 2, 4, 9, 9, 10, 9,... <-- this is where you are at the moment Jack
me too, and i was consistently losing there I lost for example two SnG's and wanted to get the money back FAST in Rush poker. And almost everytime lost even more...But i am really sure, that for FT it is very profitable platform...

Yep. I know it. I'm not stressed anymore, that post got rid of it last night.
Just pissed at myself that I kept pushing that SOB "get chips" button on the screen. How stupid is that? instead of taking a break and doing something else for 10 min.
And I know about the "mixing", it's a no-no. I started a few days ago playing 1 Rush table and 1 easy SnG, and that went ok. When I started losing I played higher buy-in Sng's to catch up (5.50), and that went wrong... THEN, I just started playing 2 Rush tables at once. Went ok for a while, and then KABOOM! Both tables exploded in my face! lol
The real problem is Rush, like B1gfoot and many of the others are saying.

I stayed away from Rush for a while, but with this "Fast $100" promotion running now, Rush is the easiest to get FT points with. So off I went, playing Rush again.
This time I really felt the "addiction" factor. Wow! Just couldn't let up the last couple of nights!
I was even playing 2 Rush tables at the same time, and that gets REALLY addictive. OMG! What a Rush!
I will keep playing FT because I like it, but I just wish I could delete the Rush tab from the software. So I TOTALLY agree with the self-exclusion thing. I think I might even ask support if it can be done. Really!
