PokerStars - WCOOP: Three-way deal in 2 events

WCOOP Event #22, a two-day tournament, was finalized this noon. The three last men standing in the tournament had even stacks and quickly agreed on making a deal. All of them walked away with a big piece each from the $3 million+ prize pool. In Event #23, which finished last night, a three-way deal was made as well. However, there wasn't as much money up for grabs in this event as in Event #22. [...]   Read more » PokerStars - WCOOP: Three-way deal in 2 events

lmao all that way only to make a deal, IMO i would of gone all the way,
bunch of pussys at jokerstars, you play at tourney to win it,
you want a WCOOP belt title to your poker CV.......
yes indeed its alot of money but when you are down to the final 3 players, that doesnt matter then you go for the win..... retards.....
what a waste of great chance to win it WCOOP belt...

I don;t get how you don't know how the deal thing works. They make the deal they have X amount of $$ guaranteed and they live something like 2-3% of the total prize pool aside to go to the winner...So you do get to have the wcoop belt or whatever and besides, if you look it online on the tourneys results, it clearly shows who took what place. It doesn't matter that maybe the 2nd and 3rd places cashed the same, because it shows how you placed.
You'd think you'd learn some things playing all this time sheesh...and think at another thing, you get to final 3 with even stacks and huuuuge blinds, everyone has about 15-20 BB => soon it's a lucksacks win / flipament ...it gets ugly. And YES, a difference of 100K is a big deal, you didn't play all that time only to be forced to go allin every 2 hands (not necessarily...but still), so a deal is for the best.
If making a deal makes them a p***y, well I would be a p***y too Shock
I thought you knew more than that dozn01 Sad but it seems you still have a loong way to go..

are you for real...... you play tourneys to gain first prize, not to do deals

oh im on final table at the WSOP 3 players ok let do a deal ...... Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!
deals should not be done play to theres a winning p***y way out like i said,
as for me a long way to go i know more than you my little friend.......
money shouldnt matter titles do ask any pro the bonus is the money.......
yes the luck factor comes into play but at least give it a shot at winning the main prize ,
so you still have a lot to learn your self kid who has been playing on line for two years Tongue

also you can inprove on your final game in this stage if you make it,
cause if you do deals your clueless on what to in the future when your in this postion,
and wont make you a better player or win many tourneys,
so whos clueless now and whos got a long way to go now eh.......

dont tell ya dad how to suck eggs my friend Blink

be a man and win the tourney properly take some pride in poker and in what you do,
go to end even if it kills you..............
wanna be a champion go for the gold play to be 1st....

f**k the money pride is worth more at least you can say you beat the best the right way...

over and out dozn01........ Cool

Wow...there's some real flame right there. Don't worry, I won't take it to heart...I know I have much to learn, but you also...the difference being I'm not arrogant about it..only I know how much I've worked on my game and how many hours I read and played, and you also know about ur own game.
You are right, I also have this mentality of "go for first" in a tourney...I make moves not wait for monsters, but I'm being real here....I one admit...If I would be playing lets say - The Sunday Million on PS and would make the final table remaining 3 in play, but I got there through qualifiers and I only have 1K in my account, the difference between 3rd and 1st in pay being of tens of thousands of $$ , I would make a deal there and take the money...and still play for 1st. That's what you don't seem to understand...you still play for FIRST, so the deal is only an insurance of the money.
So let's not fight over gibberish here. Time will tell who knows what about what...
Just think about it, and don't flame anymore please.
And with this I rest my case... Spade

cmon stop saying deals are for pussies. in this case when blinds are too high and the only possible move is almost go all in is the best thing to do. im agree with these guys who made that choice.

POKER IS BUSINESS AZZ HOLE

U would never see deals being made @ the final table of live events, so why should online tourny's be any different? I agree with dozn01 on this one.....U DON"T MAKE DEALS @ FINAL TABLES, EVER. To do so makes u a p***y.

i agree with you, it all depends on your bankroll and your ambitions. anyway deal making is not a forced thing so if u wanna go for first you can reject the offer Blink
