My advice: change the poker-room! Cake is the last ****. It's even not safe there. There are a lot of better sites. Choose a no deposit bonus on another site, instead of risking anything on a **** roomn like Cake.

I have 54 gold cards now but no one eanred this month cause I was not playing there last months... just tried the new release 2.0: i like it but I have some problems with betting size bar in the sense that I can't set it up as I want and when I try to raise it goes from zero to almost all my chips in two or three steps any help for me?
PS: maybe in the future I will say you were right about your advice on cake poker...but til now I've never had any problem either with the room and their support

hey what is gold cards, what can you do with them. dont have much experience of ake poker due to i lost the no deposit bonus quickly there. and i didnt like the site so much either.

Earning Gold Cards
Collecting Gold Cards is as easy as taking a seat at any real money ring game. How do I earn a Gold Card?
Every time the table reaches a pre-determined rake amount a Gold Card is randomly issued to one player at that table. So, while Gold Cards are issued to players of all stakes and levels, higher limit games will be rewarded more frequently. What is the value of a Gold Card?
Have you ever collected stamps or baseball cards? Think along those lines. While some offer instant value on their own, others may increase in value as your collection grows and time passes. How you use them is the fun part. Before redeeming your cards for a reward get familiar with judging their value by the following indicators: By Card
In a regular deck of cards, each individual card holds a different value based on its number or face, and its suit; Gold Cards are no different. Use our Gold Card Odds chart to help determine value. The less the odds are of receiving a given card, the more valuable it is likely to be.
By Year A sash is displayed on every Gold Card you receive. The older a card is, the more valuable it becomes. You’ll notice that Gold Card Tournaments prize pools and value are better the higher the Gold Card buy-in is. For example, a 2008 King of Clubs Gold Card buy-in event will be much sweeter than a Two of Clubs one.

Funnily enough, so do i and so have i. Ive never been one of those sore losers screaming RIGGED at the site of every bad beat, but cake has been a site that ive seen too many weird things happen that i havent experienced at any other site.

Well guys those goldcards are worth a shitload of money, at least for me they were and still are. 80+ something left. This week liipoker(cake-network) has changed it and you play for direct cash prizes with goldcards.
In the last 4-5 months I won 4 tickets for the 100k GTD through different goldcard qualifiers.
with those 4 tickets i could cash 2 times, 4th place and 15th place in the 100k GTD. Another dude from another little forum i know qualified through goldcard too, and took down second place in the tourney I finished in 15th place.
A" 6 of hearts goldcard" was worth 7200$for me and a 5 of diamond was worth $14.550 (for the other dude)

ok well explained, it seems like the gold ards is worth a lot for some players like whambozeled, congratulations that was a nice price to win, 7200$ it a lot. maybe i should play there againg to try my bad luck.

I have played at few of cakes skins. i can't seem to get to the end of a freerol there. I come within 5 spots from getting some gold cards then get sucked out on. It's nuts. I been close like three times. AA KK and KK all got cracked with junk suck out ---all but one of the KKs which got held up with a pair of bullets. AA The other two were complete suck outs with no reason to call an ALL IN. --Yet their it was once again. I lost out just a few short. I will keep trying.

The cold cards are cool, even the low ones. I have won about 500 dollars with a single 2 (first place in a 2500 dollar tourney). So with a bit luck they can be woth some money.

tonight at 20.30 german time (6 hours 10min) from now, there is a 3000 cashfreeroll for all who have a 9 of diamonds. I dont know if it is cake wide or just at Lii, I dont have another cake account yet. Im gonna play this one for sure.

I know what you mean...i'm playing cash games at doyles room since an week and have seen some incredible hands but i must admit that i played some boards wrong because i was already on tilt but don't know if they had activated some kind of doomswitch on me lol
i will continue playing there till the end of the month cuz the rake race is very soft at doyles room
