Hi everybody! I oppened this thread because i woud like know who is playing this type of poker. I am hungarian people, so please look at your my bad english. My first question who is playing fix limit, and which limit? I play at 0,02/0,04 so I am not a good player but i would like evolve.

sorry man i don´t play it and i don´t know people they played fix limit holdem.But when u think thats the right way for you to bulid a bankroll maybe u can find artikels here or in internet that can help you

I play ring games in No limit Texas Hold 'em, but the same values.. 0,2/0,4.. its good to new players because dont offer risks against the bankrolll...

Strategy changes at all! A lot of fishes in late positions play poor projects until the river only calling your continuation bet. A lot of limpers get involved in a hand ... very difficult to read the strenght of each opponent ... Personally I don't like this poker.

Me neither. It is too slow and time consuming. And you don't have the thrills of swings. But if you want to learn it beats funny money games. It melted my bankroll slowly, but I found out a lot about the game.

I have played some limit poker, and I kind of like it for the math involved. I do not make much profit out of this, probably even lose, and I win at NL, but for some reason I like the limit stuff. It is not as intimidation, in some sort of way.
But, I belive the math is so simple that you could actually have a bot playing it, which, in the long run, makes it EV- for a regluar player, considering the rake.
