High Stakes: Isildur1 won long session against durrrr

Yesterday it was finally time for a longer heads-up session between Tom "durrr" Dwan and the mystery swede Isildur1 again. They played at four $100/$200 NHL tables and managed to play over 3000 hands in about 6 hours. The match was very even most of the time, but thanks to a few big pots Isildur1 managed to walk away with about $120,000. After that this match was over, Isildur1 decided to continue[...]   Read more » High Stakes: Isildur1 won long session against durrrr

He should play NL holdem, he will go broke at omaha.

he is deff as good as hes stupid ... why he still plays with jungleman ? he should avoid him . 8-|

He should def. use more time on table selection. Keep away from Omaha and avoid good players like Jungleman which is just as good or better than Isildur. But it is great to watch Isil play. He makes some insane moves.....

Thats getting boring already. When he landed to FT last year, I was excited and thought hes a real deal - but after losing one bankroll after another - its not interesting anymore Sleepy

Blom - Blows!

agreed. whenever i read about isildur im like "yawn, again the santa clause whos giving free gifts to the other players"

not much different to a donk who receives 20 ND bonuses and blow them all off ...he just play a high limit that makes him interessting.

but he earned that money, he can do anything he wants with them - and i hope, last time he wasnt completely busto - hope that he left some money somewhere else than on fulltilt. And I hope that this time he will do a same and he will save some profit he does Smile

Really? How can you guys say that ? He's NOT a donk getting 20 NDB's ! He's actually building he's own roll and building it into the 6-7 figure marker ! How many people can do that. OK - yeh - he should exercise more caution on who he plays at the nosebleed stakes. But he's obviously completely dominating the stakes below that..

i dont really follow on how the poker pokerpros play, but whenever i read about isildur hes losing.
i mean....everyone donk has his lucky run but at end he will lose his entire roll tho..
doenst seem to me as he would be + 1, 2 or 3Million but rather broke or broke even.
anyways, hes not "the" player to be mentioned in the category pro, to follow his arvhievments or to look up to him. just one player among the crowd in my opinion.

Because you see him in the light when he's playing against the BEST OF THE BEST. He aint no donk having a lucky run. He consistently destroys stakes that most of us could only dream of even playing. Yes we see him lose against some poker gods and maybe he's not in their league. But if you think he just some donk with some good runs - then you're incredibly naive. At worst he has bad bankroll management and tilt issues - not to mention terrible table selection at the highest level. But everything below that peak of peak levels he destroys. If you can consistently build your way up to the HIGHEST stakes there is in online poker - then you gotta be pretty good.

And don't even get me started on the people who think Tom Dwan is a donk.. Aww crap!

Maybe nice for the Isildur fanboys, but durrrr and jungleman have a challenge running. Instead playing each other, they play Isildur. Aww crap!

This one will end (or better not end) like the one against Antonius. Evil

noone knows it for sure, but lot of people speculate, that he is Viktor Blom - You can find it almost in evry article about isildur on the internet...

To be honest i dont see why these people play for insane stakes lol. Even though they can deal with a $400k loss here and their dont you think they could do something a bit more productive? Blink Pokers still fun at like $1/$2 stakes ( Just my opinion ) Not saying they should stop but just.. Hey think about it

im starting to think that these pros have struck a deal at fulltilt b4 they play as the amount of money iv seen gus hansen lose in past few months has been millions and yet hes still on playing everynight on 3/4 dif tables, like last night he was on omaha-hi/lo,nlh,and playing mixed aswel and he was still losing to zigmund heavily and he was actually laughing about it,he typed in BOOM after zigmund took a250k pot with a f/h,lol!u cant keep losing these amounts of money and i know hes got money but he surely cant keep this up unless hes doing something illegal to keep his bankroll, lol!
