Multiple Free Bankrolls.... How to Build?  0
Ok so i got 2 very small free bankrolls just recently, and my question or topic i should say is this... How would you try and build 1 bankroll with $7.10 won from a Freeroll? And another one for $50 from a no deposit that requires you to get x amount of points within your first month in order to receive the rest of the bonus.

I have played more MTT then ring games, and just wanna see how others would approach it.

if you're an MTT player - it may be worth considering not trying to complete the points requirement for the $50 bankroll - it's better in the long run to keep your money and slowly build from MTT than it is to go busto playing ring/SNG trying to earn enough points within a month.

Bonus requirements generally require a LOT of play in order to fulfill them - and if you play mtt only you'd have to play a LOT of tables at once IMO if you wanted to earn enough points..

There's absolutely no point playing above your level to earn a bonus - it's a classic mistake.

In regards to the $7 - I really don't think it matters much - you can't exactly exhibit Bankroll Management with that kind of roll... Personally - for an MTT player - I reckon just buy into the biggest game you can and go for broke.

Ya that was kind of what i thought i would do with the $7.10 is play 1 MTT $5+.50 and hope for the best, and the other $1.60 at a small ring game. Although i do like hearing others input on the subject as well, So Thanks for the input Jess!!

Thumbs Up GLE1..

Like Jess says, don´t try to clear a bonus and lose more money in the process.
I´m an expert on that one, just recently again with a Full Tilt Bonus.
Tried to play Rush Cash games even though I´m NOT a cash player just to get the points.
And...you guessed it!.. I lost more in the process than I won.

I would try and clear 7.10 with $1 SnG´s to start.
But you might be pulling your hair out playing the River Donks at that level. No guarantees.

Otherwise, play some Tourneys like Jess suggests. No guarantees there either.
But then, it´s Poker, right? Big Smile

Yeh exactly. Seriously it's $7. I'm not dissing bankroll management or anything. But we're (presumably) all adults. It's $7 - play a $5+50c MTT and see if you can get a decent roll - if not, seriously, did I mention, it's $7 !!!

You could spend forever trying to build $7 into $100 if you play by a 20 buyin rule (and thats not even strict BRM !). Just go for it - hope you post back a big pay day Smile GL
Thumbs Up

For the second one you have to look of how points are given at your poker room. At most rooms it is better to play cash games to get points quickly.

With $7 just do a rocket. Take the money and play cash or a SnG. If you win go to the next level. Continue untill you have a decent roll or bust.

I can only share my experience. I wasted a number of such small bankrolls. There is not much to do with such amount of money. Either play patiently and wait for premium hands or try your luck with only one game. The second one saves more time.

If your a MTT player why not play a few low buy in MTT's? $1 or $2 buy in??? Might help to start up a bankroll??? Question

if you are a MTT player and got a bankroll something about 7$ try either 1 or 2 little buy ins for MTTs or just try to find a sat for bigger buy in where you just need this sat to qualify for a bigger buy in MTT.

Although you will find a lots of players who managed to get a big bankroll playing cash and starting with 7 $, but you will find more who didnt *lol*

what is your final objective? are you trying to build a bankroll just from what you have or are you just wanting to play, and willing to add more if you go broke. If you are willing to add more, then go for the big payouts, but if you don't want to add more of your own money, then use good bankroll management principles, and have patience. Patience is the key to good bankroll management

with the 7$ bankroll, to build up the only decent chance is double or nothing from 1$

i agree totally with jess and u have a 50$ bonus but it isnt yours,u think it is yours but its not,its just the usual poker sites trying it on,promising u the extra $50 so u gamble ein chasing the bonus,i would suggest $1/2 dons or just h/u and at least that way u get a few games in and hopefully u win or get lucky!gl anyway whatever as its $7 so theres not much2say! Tongue

I would buy into a bunch of $2 KO SnGs or something like that....cashing in these has two benefits, one, the obvious largest reasonable return on your money, and two, you'll earn more bonus points with a cash from a decent-sized MTT than you would playing 1/2 cent. One dollar HU SnGs are also a good idea, because you can see a decent return in a pretty short amount of time, with the least amount of variance possible, assuming thats your thing.

Hey supertjc,

I got the UB 50 dollar no deposit bonus...I have been playing micro stakes...you can play limit holdem ring game at .05/.10 or .02/.05 NLH 3-4 tables at once if you are good a multitabling. I am trying to learn PLO so I'm mainly playing micro stakes at it...

With 7.10 you can get 6 tables of $1.10 SNG's hopefully you can run good in the first few SNG's and give urself some cushion for variance.

GL at the tables.

if you want to clear a bonus definitely ring games wud get u points quicker but if u not used to them dnt go there unless u build your bankroll. and always remember $$ are more important than points so dnt play to earn points but to win money Blink

easiest way is small tables at cacshgames and sit and goes. that is what i recommend. when you have built up your bankroll you can go up a step in tables and on and on. i think when you got up to 1/2$ ashgames you can stay there. good luck. Thumbs Up
