Have been playing for about 1½-2 years now (ON and OFF)... I haven't really tried my best to win, and have a weakness for the biggest limits available to my roll.
Well. Had a bad run on my Full Tilt account, and thought I would give my $20 on PokerNordica a chance.
Have played a few cash tables and SnG's since yesterday late evening, with both profit and loses.
Well.. This is my attempt to get a bit more serious, and hopefully get some feedback to get better. I'll be posting my progress along with 'possibly' some hand histories. - WAIT! I'm considering just recording my sessions, as I feel they reveal a bit more of my playing style (Tho I don't think I got one).
As a side note: I don't calculate odds, take notes, review my hands or any of that practical stuff :S

Lol you do the same exact stuff i do . I enjoy the rush from buying into a table with my full bankroll lol then if i lose i go to SnG's and put my entire roll on a heads up and end up winning and go back to cash tables and win some/lose some.. I just need to learn some good BRM and stick to it because my swings are pretty wild
sorry but only one out come here........... you go bust........ you say you wanna get serious but yet you play out of your bankroll and smoke weed while playing, stop wasting my time.........

If he wants to smoke and play thats his choice, personally i find myself playing alot better after a smoke i focus waaaay more and most the time i end up posting a proft. Totally the opposite case when i drink tho lol . Anyway though, i agree with everything Dozn and Shokoku said, no BRM = busto after 1 downswing. Thats not being serious at all. IF you wana really be serious and not drop limits, deposit $300 or so and use BRM to play 10n, its easily crushable if you TAG it upl

Well, the Mobsters were kind enough to try and give you some advice, but apparently it didn´t sink in.
Let´s try a motivational technique:
If you smoke less while playing, use proper Bankrollmanagement, and follow some advice from the Mobsters to improve your game, you´ll probably be making a lot more cash.
With all this extra cash, you could be spending most of your time either going or moving to Jamaica and smoke your weed under a palm tree!

Dozno1,it would probably surprise u the things people do when playing poker,some smoke weed,others drink and others stay up for3days chasing but i wouldnt condone it myself even tho i think i play better when had a smoke but not to the extremes where u dont know what u are doing,anyway my advice would be to stick to the sngs and stay away from the cash tables until u build yourself a decent enough bankroll,just keep grinding on the sngs and hopefully u start noticing a profit and then start controlling your b/roll and i would suggest u take notes on people u play as it does help when u bump into some donk u have forgot about!

Haha very well said sir... yeah I'm from Mauritius and all I can say is that we need more people to come here and smoke their weeds under our palm trees
So hope you stick to what the mobsters is suggesting you and get the ticket for Mauritius Anyway good luck!

Forums such as this one with players from every corner of the planet seems to be very informative. Its a great place for you to start.
I myself am more of a MTT player, and have noticed that i have so many up and down swings on the cash tables i really never feel like i am ready to go to the next level in the ring games. But have also noticed that if i stick with my bankroll management plan while playing MTT, that works best for me.
So I guess you gotta try it all to see what works best for you. GLE1...

My ''Current'' BRM is $25+ = Do whatever I want. $-25 = Only lowest cash tables + $1-2 SnG's.
ATM. I'm reading about proper BRM + Calculating Odds.
And yeah btw. It really doesn't matter if I smoke weed or not.. I play the same... No changes at all.
