Hiya, im generally an MTT player and quite often play 2 or 3 at the same time, and or a bit of plo to keep one amused. Thing is, sometimes i end up hitting sessions that are like 24h+...i know this is nothing new but how many of you guys play like this??? boiling the kettle, hearing the beep beep, running back, check fold raise, leg it back to the kitchen, put in sugar, stir, beep beep, run back to lappy, fold, back to kitchen, stir tea add milk etc etccc. Also does anybody notice any big variations in play / swings due to epic session and tiredness etc?? i think my play tails off after around hour 14 - 15, something that i have broken down and analysed. Give me your opinions chaps and chapesses!! Thanks

LMAO at this post...have you ever heard the beep, run all the way back to the PC, and looked at AK of spades, only to watch your hand get mucked after a split second? Or rushing back to look at the screen and seeing alot of potential playable hands, hearing MULTIPLE beeps, and folding that QQ by accident?

Hehehehehe sounds like everyday for me...mucking AA or KK because I was busy in the damn kitchen One day when I'm big and I've made my 1st million from poker I will invest in a made to bring me my coffee then no more big hands will be mucked But yeah my longest session has probably been 16-18 hrs straight, mixed cash and MTT, my game definitely deteriorates after about 10 hours Good luck at the tables

Hah - also - i dont turn on poker sounds, they're annoying. So there's no beep. I'm just in the kitchen, sppon in the coffee - s**t - i wonder if i have time to do the sugar as well?? - hmm.. OK! I wonder if I should pour the water.. wait, no ! that's pushing - quick ! leg it back. Oh good, I would probably have lost those aces anyway.. Right water - oh crap ! No milk open, to the cupboard, get a new milk - wow how long has this all taken ? I wonder if I've been dealt aces again ? that'd be nice ! OK - coffee is ready - i might try and kinda run with this - i feel it's taken a while - oh crap ! to quick - just spilt coffee all over my keyboard.. oh, it's still THIS hand.. right, i got time to run and grab te paper towel.. ok - just quickly wipe the cofee away.. f**k! Did i just press fold with the paper towel ? I DID get aces again ! Well f**k me.

I generally play around 2 hours straight, 4-10 tables, some NLHE, some PLO, possibly an SNG or MTT mixed in, take a 10 minute break to get a drink (coffee, soft drink), maybe a snack, quick bathroom break and then another 2 hours. After that I like to do something else for a couple of hours before repeating the cycle. GL!

i do play like that too; but only on saturday's (philippine time). or during days where there isn't work the next day...

that is the thing that make online poker fun is playing many tables. that way u always have action to play and u can always be playing instead of folding folding folding waiting on a hand. i have played 23 tables at once mainly they were sit and goes and it was great but it was also very hard because of easy mistakes by clicking wrong table..but i play 6 or 9 tables to fill my screen. thats the best way

i rarely play for more than 14 hrs, its hard for me to find time to play that much and that frequently. but most of the time i work for the day and then play at night and im tired and distracted like i had a long session of poker

In my early days i did pretty long sessions like 5h/6h 7 days a week, not anymore luckily i have a life now But still playin, but more like 3h/4h a day average.

Haha, great replies!!! The bottle bit is a bit sick though....think i still have enough control to make it to the synchro breaks Take the laptop with me....genius...although could end up with certain tea related disasters...! I'm a self employed electrician so i can pick and choose when i work so i can pretty much have super long sessions when i like, trouble is it's no good for my game. Going to start cutting down to 10h max sessions and see if my results improve :]] thanks for all the quality feedback, i didn't realise quite how many people did this hahaha!!!

not everybody,just people who playing for fun.........if you want to earn some money (not much but quite enough for living withaut working) DO NOT PLAY MORE THAN 2 TABLE and more important - never on same site. I started about 2 years ago,playing only MTT ( in cash games,more on low stakes,but at higher stakes also,once in a while you meet some fck Tarzan who play with everything,and that cost you money - and,in the end,money is what we all asking for)and now,I don't need job to make money...............but that is only my opinion,every man/woman is different. Wish you all good luck ( that's a way of speaking-this game and luck should not be at same sentence) So,again......wish you all to earn much,much money..!!!!!!

I love this part of your post!I do same things,get some for drink,jump for another packet cigarettes,run in toalet and back when I hear beep beep for my move and things like that
