If he has the chance to win €9 million, I'm sure he'll find a good lawyer. Anyway, if I was him, I wouldn't have gone to the lottery shop in order to know how much money I won.

I have never heard of a lottery where you have to cash in your tickets before 21.00? And if you are 7 seconds late, they are worthless?! Why is this? Quite pequliar, indeed. I have no idea of what the rules might be in Sweden, but I am sure that you can wait at least like 3 months, or half a year, with the ticket in some drawer, before it expires.

I have only one thing to say: This s*it is rigged!

yeah this is so sick!just wonder when did he try to buy a ticket, just before 21:00 or 1 hour before?if he is right, then he can brun them beacuse of this scam!when they took your money, thats ok,but when they have to pay out you, then is problem,BIG problem!

there wasnt a delay in claiming the money , but delay happened while buying the ticket.
last eligible tickets r sold at 9 pm but his was bought 7 seconds later than that, and it was eligible for draw of next week. and someone else had already won that week's draw ( for which his ticket was not eligible) by same numbers and he wants his "share" of 27 mil $ prize money.
btw this news is pretty old, aint it ??
