If he has the chance to win €9 million, I'm sure he'll find a good lawyer. Anyway, if I was him, I wouldn't have gone to the lottery shop in order to know how much money I won.

I have never heard of a lottery where you have to cash in your tickets before 21.00? And if you are 7 seconds late, they are worthless?! Why is this? Quite pequliar, indeed. I have no idea of what the rules might be in Sweden, but I am sure that you can wait at least like 3 months, or half a year, with the ticket in some drawer, before it expires.
I have only one thing to say: This s*it is rigged!

there wasnt a delay in claiming the money , but delay happened while buying the ticket. last eligible tickets r sold at 9 pm but his was bought 7 seconds later than that, and it was eligible for draw of next week. and someone else had already won that week's draw ( for which his ticket was not eligible) by same numbers and he wants his "share" of 27 mil $ prize money. btw this news is pretty old, aint it ??
