Hi
I have some problems whit my pokerstars account. A hacker robbed my account and then charge it whit a stolen visa card. He gamble all the money and lost it. The bank order to have back this funds and ps have frozen my account whit a negative balance. It is fair? I have been playing for 2 years and never had a problem. Now they told me that if i dont pay the 1k$ i can´t ever play there.
Ask PS nicely to investigate the matter. Explain what happened. They have ways to see that hijacker played from a different IP. Provide your bank information so that they could see that the credit card that was charged was not yours.

Find another site to play at and make a more secure password. Unfortunately there are risks to playing over the internet, and its your job to protect your investments. Get Microsoft free malicious removal tool, just google it I'm to lazy to provide the link. Get some form of virus security protection. Thats the best advice I can give you. That is a hard way to learn a valuable lesson though. Never take the internet for granted, and always stay protected.

THIS
If the IP is form another country or something.. I'd say you'd have a reasonable chance.. Otherwise I guess it's up to you to ensure people don't access your account.
How exactly did you get 'hacked' ? Do you change your password frequently etc? In some ways, harsh as it is, this sort of security is largely your responsibility..

there are about 100 sites out there, 90 are better than pstars, but in the case, you really want to play there and they do not accept your arguments, just open a new account in your girlfriends, mothers, fathers name - and avoid to play live qualifiers hehe
