Other fact against it is that even if you multitable it to grind a BR you can only play 25 every 24h, the days I tried I got to the daily 25 quickly with heavy multitabling, I was doing 20c a day. The goal was to reach a $5 BR to play nano stakes SnG, 10c+2c. At that rate I would need to play about 25-30 days to get it. The worst of it was moving to a paid limit would not increase your ridiculous hourly winrate. If I things went wrong, I would have a few of the 90 days you can play them available to recover some. And even if things went good, using appropriate BRM, I would need about a year to reach a 3 digit bankroll. Very bad time investment.
Being a Mob member is more +EV than being a 10c giveaway grinder.

Thanks for the info. I won a few of these giveaways. Went onto the 10c sit n gos. Worked my way up to $1 and so far have $3.50 on beginner table $0.01/0.02. That's from yesterday when I read this.

Must be your teeth and wise words No matter what people say: I enjoy playing 10 cent giveaway sometimes. And build more serious bankroll at Bigbet. To avoid tilt I play free sometimes. And IF i tilt it doesnt matter

You you don't need a passport to be eligible for a bankroll at Victor Chandler, i think the phone verification is inaf and by da way the winner gets only 5 cents, second 3 and the third 2 cents

I know a lot of you are deriding this whole 10c giveaway SNG at VC, but for me the challenge is very important. Ever since I read Chris Ferguson's articles on bankroll management, and how he challenged himself to go from zero, play freerolls until he had money, and then take that to $10,000, I have been intrigued. Obviously Chris is very talented but I wondered if I could do something similar. Last year at Betraiser I took 5 Euros and ran it up to $350, and would still be going there but the low player volume worried me, I cashed out once, won more, and then cashed out a final time. But at VC there are a lot more players once I have $ to work with. It is all about the challenge. I will start a blog here at BRM to detail how I will take $0 to 2xFerrari, anybody want to follow it be my guest. GL at the tables!

Why dont he challenge himself to make $10.000 from zero at any other room, lets say Pokerstars, Party poker, Everest or any ipoker room. That is a real challenge for him. But, he wont try it because he knows that making $10.000 from zero is IMPOSSIBLE in real life.

The way I look at it is this: If a very average player like me can take $5 free bankroll and turn it into $350 a few months later, without it being my main site and only playing there occasionally, I think a skilled pro can do much better. The world is not always out to get you dude, time to move out of your mother's basement and ditch the conspiracy theories.

Are you stupid? Or you just want to people to think about you like that? The biggest problem of people who are going up with stakes is mostly mindset. With higher stakes they can play tighter not their A-game and if they loose there they can easy tilt. I am sure Chris didn't have that problem which is the main here. I know many people who made more then 1k$ and aren't playing "great" (me~). So pro could easy do 10k$ on "easier stakes" for himself. Anyway u ask why he didn't play Ipoker or Everest? Like you say marketing. Who would like to sponsor other site then yours? Think it really doesn't hurt.

Maybe I'm stupid, maybe I'm paranoid, but I'm not buying this crap.
This is marketing trick for naive suckers who thinks that money grow on trees. If Jesus did it, maybe I can do it. I must open account at Full Tilt poker and start collecting that easy money overthere. Thousands of dollars is waiting for me to pick them from the tree.
Fairytales are for kids, it is not that easy in real (poker) life.
