I downloaded your new poker software and was looking to resume playing in your 10 cent SNG giveaways you had available previously, however I could not find them. Are they gone for good or is this just temporary?

So there you have it, my 90 days of 10 cent SNGs ended early. After being on pace for a $16.00 bankroll I now sit at 4.26 Euros. I’m currently taking a couple days off from poker to get over a bit of a nasty cold, and then I will see what I do. Although there are numerous freerolls on VC now, I think it is time to take what I have earned and start playing for real cash. Easy Street here I come!

i didnt like the entraction software and am glad i took out whatever money i had before changeover. 4.26 euros are not even enough to start thinking playing seriously. but u can try building it to decent roll. gl with ur rocket, keep us updated

In January this year, Betraiser gave me 5 Euros to try out their site, and by the time I cashed out for the last time in July, I was up to about $350. In the beginning stages it was difficult, but then I hit a hot streak, brought it up to 12 Euro, bought into an MTT for 1 or 2 Euro, came in second or third to bring my total up to about 23 Euro, and never looked back. I would still be there but the extremely low player volume made it difficult to play anything other than their freerolls. The low amount of players also made me concerned that they were about to disappear with whatever I had earned, so I cashed out and left. My other NDB with Noble Poker crashed and burned after a tilt session. Oh well...

What are you playing after change to Entraction? Because NL4 with your bankroll is kinda bad idea. You should play Dons 1€~ . Entraction = Mostly europe players so best time to play is 19:30-22 CET i think.

I think I'm going to shortstack it. Played a little last night and this morning, total is up to 5.11 Euros, feeling good about my game now that my head has cleared up. With Noble Poker $20 NDB a while ago, shortstacking took me to $40, at which point shoulda switched to full stack, but didn't. Backslid down to $20 and then shortstacked $0.50BB and went down in flames. Gotta learn from history.
GL to you - I played a little there from their switching - I see the 1 dollars turbo ro super turbo SnG's quite easy to beat, think about it if you are sng player. You can made it for example to ten and then shortstack not with the whole your bankroll.
And may I have two questions? Pls is it possible to resize the screen of the table? And can i have preferred seat at the table? Not random selection?

Hi AbuDhabi! Yes you can resize the tables (I tried it), but so far no preferred seating option. The Entraction software is a little basic but not bad so far, I've seen worse. I think the best thing is to email support and they will put it on their list of development.
I appreciate your opinion, however I tend to be either very hot or very cold when it comes to SNGs, and would hate to hit a cold streak and for all of this to crash quickly. Shortstacking right now gives me 6.5 buy-ins at 0.80 Euros each, and I found the stakes easy to beat so far (I don't play typical SS strategy of fold or all-in). Very similar to Betraiser so far, and I did well there previously so I will stick with it for now. GL!
to your strategy: sorry i firstly didnt understand it well, I thought that you vould like to play shortstack for example NL 10 with whole your money - with your strategy, when i understand it well now, i am okay GL to you.
I found also 3,30 SnG's quite soft, at least now. I like the entraction software, it is fast, quite simple, the game has a flow. And it is okay also with my old computer, which is quite courious

Dec. 26 marked the end of week#6 of my VC challenge. Had forgotten how swingy playing shortstack can be, especially at these blinds. Started off good, hit a dip and then recovered most of it. Not much to report, spending time with family and friends and working on poker strategy vs. playing tons of hands. Happy New Year to all!
I have also done a good progress on VC after moving to Entraction - I see the players there worse than on iPoker. I won a small 2 dollars MTT for 85 euro when I was shortstack for most of the time and the second day in the same MTT I finished 7th when I was chipleading most of time What a paradox
But I have now there about 200 dollars. I cant see my bonus progress, but it never mind

A little updat to report that I haven't played much here lately, and my total is close to what it was at my last report. Christmas occupied a lot of my time as we visited friends and enjoyed a little family down time to reconnect with each other. It was the first Christmas since my father passed away suddenly in an accident last spring, and his birthday is a few days after Christmas, so it was definitely a time to reflect, remember, and look to 2011 to be a better year.The return to work in January was extremely hectic and whatever time I could set aside for poker was dedicated to my main sites.
I set a few goals for my poker playing, and with this challenge I will soon pick a day when I am feeling sharp and go for broke. With my free bankrolls on Betraiser and Noble this is what I did, one worked the other didn't, but at least on the one that did I didn't feel like I was wasting time and was instead making a little $. Playing SS at this level is unbelievable the crap I get called with (LOL) so I will switch to full stack and see what happens. Hopefully by next weekend I am on my way to ferraris and such, or, well, you know... Have a good week and GL at the tables!

Busted! The challenge is over. No free Ferraris. The hand that did me in was disgusting, with pocket sixes I flopped set against opponent who flopped set of tens. I had him on a flush draw which I thought the river card gave him, but the river card paired the board to give me the full house. Both all-in and a little shocked to see my chips go to him, and it was over.
Thank you to all of you who encouraged me throughout this challenge, much appreciated! Still a little disappointed that the 90 day period of 10 cent freerolls ended early, as this would have given me a $16.00 bankroll, and a better shot at making it. So far I prefer the old VC Ipoker format vs. the Entraction format. Faced with the choice of depositing on Ipoker or Entraction I would go with Ipoker, simply much better software. It was fun having the blog, maybe sometime in the future I will start another one. GL at the tables!
