There is a little word of warning that must go with this article: get your eyes checked regularly and make sure you are getting an eye pressure test and picture of your retinal nerve. I was recently diagnosed with high pressure inside my eyes, which can be caused by several things (in my case myopia). Anyways, all cases of glaucoma start with high eye pressure, and left untreated damages your retinal nerve. Luckily we seem to have caught it in time, and with eye drops (every night for the rest of my life) I should be able to control it and prevent damage. It is easy to take your visioin for granted, especially if you don't wear glasses, however loss of vision and blindness is a life changing event, get your eyes checked regularly. RIP Lavada.

Everyday everywhere i see news about people dying... Things like that made me kinda insensitive. But when i think about it... i don't know if i would like to go on without sight at 79 years.
Very bad news. I really appreciate Doyle Brunson and his family. I know how he suffered to reach what he has now. I hope that fact doesn't affect his mood and his poker as well. Rip
