Every sport/activity needs its heroes and characters to attract and maintain attention, and poker could use one right now. Tony G is fun (and sometimes annoying too!) to watch, and revealing Isildur's identity and having him be more active is a good thing for poker.

Posted by shokaku: Funny. That guy made his name playing at Full Tilt, and now Pokerstars steals him from Full Tilt. But i guess Negreanu is easier to beat at Holdem than Dwan.
VB did get a name after playing HS over at FT, but dont forget he was also cheated, the site recongnised this and took little action and never compensated him for being cheated by FTs own sponserd players. So does not supprise me that he wouldent get sponsership from FT or possably turned them down. Im looking forward to see who wants a peice of him first.
Excellent news! We'll see his face in his PokerStars' avatar! I suppose he'll participate to the great PS Events like Sunday Million. I hope follow him at these events

Definitely . . . of course, this article implies that they will drop the bomb on us. I honestly don't think we'll know until the next WSOP coming up . . . he'll obv. be playing sponsored and won't be able to conceal his identity unless he's never covered by ESPN (certainly possible, but unlikely, wouldn't you guys agree). In other news . . . RUSH POKER IS CRACK!!!

^ I agree, smart move for PS - I'm not overly interested in his ID though - since I really dont follow pros anyway - it'll mean basically nothing. But definitely +1 move for PS

Maybe a huge marketing stunt from the beginning? No, I don`t think so, but I would really like to see this guy play something like the sunday Million and see how that works out.
And also really curious about his story and how he got into the nosebleed stakes. Or was he Super-Bankrolled to begin with?? Hope we find out.
Watched a little bit of Isildur's first session on PS yesterday. He played PL Omaha and played like a complete donk. Ended up winning 287 500 $ They already rigged PS software in favor of their new star?

this would be sick if they do stuffs like you say, that they rigged software in his favor!if he is pro, then give him cards and games like regular players!if people see this and if he would win almost every day on s.... cards, then who would play with him?so for poker stars is best to give fair play for everybody!
