I love it when I fold to c-betters and they show me the hand which matched the top card on flop, or when everyone folds and they show pockets Aces. I assume they do it to mask their future bluffs but it makes me feel very confortable because I took the right choices.

i usually use the auto muck myself...its rare i show my cards but sometimes when im down to the last couple of tables and i have a monster ill show it so people respect my raise and bets... i beleive that most poker rooms have theses options now ive noticed it in almost all the rooms i play in... gl at the tables everyone....o and i love when people show there hands especially when they do it often with suck cards....it gets bookmarked lol

and yeh i agree, slows the game down, fkn pisses me off, when people who never even show a card, don't tick 'auto-muck' and they multi-table so every fkn hand you got to wait for the show-card timer to run out. At a live game you'd be smacked.
i totally agree with you about the auto-muck option and why ppl dont use it,especially on pkr where the play is already slower than most other sites then u have to wait on some idiot mucking anyway because of no auto-mucking,i used to show some hands when i started playing online and il only show a bluff to someone who realy annoys me just to piss him off as i know it will but sometimes il show if i hit a realy giant hand like a str8/flush or quads which is very rare anyway that it will probably never happen again,lol, so i say show them nothing,i used to think i was clever at start showing ppl cards but i was so wrong,gl at the tables!

this is good option on party poker,that you can see what will happen with that hand on turn and river,even hand is over and that very good! and I dont show so much hands!show just to donks who think that they know to play or want to push me out with nothing and if somebody ask me nicely!

99,9% of the time i muck everything i can, but there are rare occasions when i show hands. One memorable moment was when i did a 3-barrel bluff with 2-7, oponent folded on river, i show the 2-7 and he sits out for the rest of the tourney

I think that show or hide cards depends on the strategy. Sometimes I like to show my cards, so it will effectively attack . But usually does not show cards.

I always muck, except when there are only a few players left and the blinds are big enough to steal. Especially at the lower limits once a player sees you bluff once or twice they are very likely to start calling with bery marginal hands like K8s etc.

I always have auto-muck on. Because if you don't at most of Poker Rooms they can see your cards if they click "last hand" so it's just like showing them anyway. I show cards really rare... when i see bad player and i am sure if i show my cards he will be tilting after showing them.

Of course that you should muck because poker is a game of information. I only show when I want somebody to think what I want him to think. I use it in heads up lot. I show couple of bluffs and when I have strong hand guy pay me off with marginal hand.
It used to anoy me when these flashers as I called them showed there bluffs or aa now I just laugh in the knowledge that if giving me information on there play gives them some form of pleasure let them carry on, there was 1 player in particular I remember from my V.C days that was a constant flasher probably still is, and he was always chatting away saying things like I bet you never guessed I had that,, my reply being nope but I know now,,

Sometimes you should muck sometimes better to show .. I ussually muck every hand :} I like Marge room because there you can show 1 card that is really good and I like this in most softwares you can not do this
