Hi I just downloaded Set of Meter, a programm which shows u how much sets u made with ur pocketpair, my problem ist that I can load the database from Pokertracker, but it doesnt show my name ---> and that means I cant see my stats there, can anyone please help me? Would be damn nice

no sorry i dont agree with all these online gadgits that help you do this that and the other it takes all the skill out the game and for tose people who actually play on the OWN makes it harder than it already is

Im curious to know why you would want such a program? you can find out the actual odds if you looked hard enough. I honestly think its a waste of space to have a prgram to track that, me personally im all for programs to track your results etc. i encourage it in fact, but this program to me seems a little useless.

I might be a little paranoid , but I dont trust those programs. If I were to use one I would have to be very sure that it is from a reputible company. Im afraid it might be spyware or something along those lines. Log in one day and your acount balance is 0000.

First of all, it isnt spyware or spammails or anything like that. I use that programm cause im Multitabling 6-9 Tables, and the programms tell me my swings or my bad beats I got or the luckgraph which tells u how much u could win. Or maybe whats good aswell is u can see out of which hand u got the most net. Its like the programm from here called Pokeroffice thats nearly the same.

Ok SicXre youre computer, your money, your decision. I dont want to tell you what to do. But i dont know why i need software to tell me how many sets have i made with pocket pairs, that seem uselless to me too. Another thing that i dont get why would you like to remember how much you could won, that statistic aint going to help you, that hand has been dealt its finished, it wil only put a pressure on you next time youre in simmilar situation and that time you could be filling that how much you lost statistic chart. I see another thing with which i disagree and that is multitabling 6-9. I mean people how can you play with 6-9 tables open thats not playing poker that is turning yourself to robot which makes money to the house and if lucky enough for himself. Not to mention that it takes the charm of the game it also becomes dull to play like that not for you but to other players and if youre are able to play 6-9 tables and not holding the game you are a wunderkind. Same thing with the hand you made most money from, that hand is not likely to repeat for probably your lifetime, what can you do with that statistic. It will also put presure on you to play it the same you did when you made money with it. Someone of those poker champions said that so much software is making the game dull and im allin on that. I dont like them and dont use them, in my opinion neither should you because it will eventually get you on the downside, maybe not today or tommorow but it will. If nothing than because you will not be able to progress in your gameplay if you play the same all the time.
For software security i must say this, i dont know nothing about software you are currently using, BUT, it has happened before that there were some exploits that you would pick up reading various websites, porn, crack, etc. Those exploits searched youre computer for account information that were stored by such software because those softwares dont have their security so advanced(we can discuss this in another forum ) as poker rooms do. Actually i think that Poker spy or Poker tracker i really dont remember anymore, stores unencrypted data either in registry or in program folder, so any scriptkiddie could see your account details if it gets access to your computer. Poker rooms at least use encryption when they store that kind of data on your computer(and they do in registry). That spamming thing is issue related to cracks for that software and not the software itself, another exploit.

You can do what ever you want. You can call me paranoid, but Id rather be safe than sorry. I just think there are to many ways in that put your account information at risk.
