A sponsorship deal is easy money. It would be mad to stay unsigned.

It probably depends. It is easy money, yes, but it might not be the kind of money that necessarily interests Phil at this stage. He could be looking for something else at this point (more freedom maybe)

That's exactly why PH will not sign any sponsorship, he's someone who needs freedom

I was wondering does anybody saw him playing on UB? Im on UB for 5 months and never seen him playing! I saw Annie playing only hers freeroll and nothing more.
I'm curious as to why Hellmuth would leave UB. He had more than a working relationship with the owners @ UB and I'm sure that his deal was better than anyone's @ FTP or Pokerstars.

We can only guess. There are rumours that online gaming in the US will be regulated and UB/AP will have huge problems after that. But the last law didn't pass parlament.

I dont understand why everybody comes with so much suspicion about why theey both left.
I know the answer why they left the UB/AP site. As we all know USa goverment is trying to change the gambling rulles in the country, and as soon as the goverment get the new rulles aproved most of the sites will get lots of problems. Because of that some sites are starting to cut the dispenses of some pros. thats exactley what is happening with AP/Ub site, they are starting to prevent the future, knowing that the site is not as big as pokerstars or fulltilt, they know they will loose tons of money with the new laws. Probably they both will get new sponsorship in some european site.

kinogomes you say YOU KNOW THE ANSERW. Not you assume.... you never be able to know truth for sure and i am kinda sure they didn't want players to hear they don't have cash to have PH in their site because it could kill them. You also said in previous post that's better they don't have PH because he isn't good player. Ok maybe ... but there is nothing like bad promotion/advertisement. Most important is to people hear/know about you. I would rather to see shows with PH then other of milions Pros which i couldn't even remember. I would love if he sing with PokerStars and make some program with PH as host epic.

Your kinda right, i didnt said the PH is a bad player (of course he is not, maybe a little bit overated) but i think its a bad publicity for the site. And i didnt said the site doesnt have money, but i think they are preventing the future, and iam sure Annie and Phill have some kind of huge deals like Fulltilt and Stars top pro.
What i said was a rumour i readed yesterday, and fo0r this rumour seems to be right, with the new USA gambling laws things are going to be very different in the future. In the other things you told, your right, i think its good to see Phil in the big cash games cause his mouth never shut up and after he gets always humilliated, its just funny to watch.
