You earn money in cash money, but yourbankroll is exposed to too much danger in my opnion... If you don't have a good bankroll, the best thing to play is SnG, becouse there you will have like 1.5K Chips to play around and "learn" and if you play it right your bank won't bankrupt or skyrocket in a day....
with 20 dollars it depends on how good a player you are, you have to remember that to make money in sit and goes you have to get at least third more than half the time on a ten person table to make any money because of the registration fee. I would try to start as low as you possibly can because i find the lower levels, this way you can play more and you will be able to tell if you actually can beat wit and go tables, the reason i like the lowest limits is because very quickly two or three people will be kicked, and at this time it is easier to loosen up an dbully your way into the money, you dont need good hands as long as you dont play anything sub optimal for the first 30 minutes

yea thats the thing with sit and gos you have to patient and let the cards come and choose when to play and stuff and i uno it jus seems that for that amount of time the pay out isnt that great can easily make more at a table

I considered my self as a great sit&go player. But as much I played sits I saw that I wasn't earn much money, and the risky are kind of big. So I think if you have got 20$ you should try cash tables.
My problem is that I get tilted very often in cash tables, and then I lost everythink, Yesterday, I had 40$ in everest, 30$ partypoker, and 40$ full tilt. I managed to lost all in couple of hours playing cash game. Anyway, play low limits dont worry about be rich at poker cuz you prob wont. So just play for fun.

I like cash games alot more, they are very exciting. But I do better in sit and goes and tournament play. I usually win my money in the sit n go and then go play cash.

Yes I know ther is a differance in the play but easier said than done. For example I will do great most of the night playing cash tables and then the one dreaded hand were I think its a sure winner and someone goes all in, I call and all my profit from the night is gone.

Yea thats why I like them. But everytime that I deposit $50 on a site and go play cash, Ill be up a $100 or so but I never quit in time, and end up losing most of it. I guess I need to learn to quit while im up until the next day.

I like Sit and Gos. I've played quite a few of them. Mostly 9 person ones. But I did switch to heads up Sit and Gos for a while. Headsup is not a great choice for a few reasons but they can be profitable.

I'll just throw in you need a bigger roll to play 10$ S&G than cash NL10 in my oppinion. I know S&G is suggested for beginners but why play something with time pressure if you are a beginner? I played S&G the first year my self but looking back im not sure it was the best????
