I was tented to answer "Yes, if..." but i decided to choose "No never" because you can't loose a chance like that to send someone home earlier. Well, "Yes, if..." i was leading in chips and didnt wanted to put the place to prizes in risk, or when i had the risk of being bubble... perhaps this is the only excuse. Note that we are talking about rush poker!

only reason to fold KK or AA preflop is the bubble situation in a tourney when you can win good money but never fold K´s or A´s in a cashgame preflop queens maybe when the pot is to big or too many players are in the pot

KK is not bullet proof (pun intended), but that's not a reason to fold them preflop in a cashgame (any kind)... Tourney is a bit different - if you're risking you whole stack - avoid all-in confrontations on the bubble, big step up in money, FT, etc. - risking your tourney life with KK at this point is -ev

Yeah, but remember dude, there are Rush MTT's (Scheduled & On Demand (Hybrid)). That's why I mostly only play Rush RING games on FT now, but still haven't tried their Rush Tourneys. I just feel like those marginal decisions will happen that much more often due to the structure of play. I find folding KK pre-flop in Ring Games absurd . . . just got mine slayed by a 9 on the flop vs. 99 (he min-raised in the HJ, button called, I shove in the SB (or BB can't remember), HJ calls). I lost $10 just like that (he had 2x equity on me PF) but hey, that's why BRM is one of the principles of poker!

The only time you can fold KK preflop is in a sat at the bubble where payouts are all the same (ticket to higher buyin tourney). For a normal tourney there is no reason for folding KK preflop. Also NOT at the bubble, folding KK to get you into the money is the worst poker there is.

I also fold often KK in the bubble of the sngs i usually play. The only way i never fold KK in the bubble is when iam SB and nobody called before, easy shove. But i think its what most of the players do in the bubble, unless your the chip leader and you sont have to be afraid of the bad beat.

Thats still no reason for folding KK and QQ at the bubble, in fact (no offend again) KK/QQ folding at the bubble just to get into the money is so horrible poker. Dont ever fold KK/QQ during the bubble, at the bubble i play more hands cos eevry body gets tight so AK AQ AJ AT A9 KK QQ JJ TT 99 ect is raise and dont fold, i even play with air when getting a good spot during the bubble. Dont freeze up during the bubble and never ever fold big hands during the bubble, never.

Check my 2nd graph in the other post and youll understand why i started to fold in the bubble. Your right KK is big gun should never been lay down pre flop and its an raisehand for sure.I dont consider myself a bad player of sngs and mtts, actually my historic is still positive at 2.20 sngs turbo 180 players, but i cant beat the game like idid before. I had 1 nasty week where i lost big part of my bankroll playing it, and most of the times (no lie) in the bubble.

Maybe if 2 or 3 players put all their chips in and that 2 of them got me covered... only reason I would fold this hand in the bubble time. Indeed if it's a freeroll or $1 or $2 buy in game I'm playing for fun, no hesitation... I'm all in!

hmmm, dont really agree here... i mean, we all know, where in a tournament the money is. So if you are at the buble its mostly good to use the players fears to get a huge stack for a good place.
