there is another recent thread dealing about the opportunity to play mediocre hands and it seems (at least I think so) there are some situations it could be doable....
...and here we are discussing about folding best hands....
I will never do it in rush poker, sometimes I do when playing Dons...but I have to say DoNs are not true poker

Yes true, i forgot DoNs lol, played over 25,000 games DoNs and yes did fold KK preflop so many times in DoNs, DoNs are the same as a sat, same payout 1 to 5, so yes play2survive beats play2win here.

Well, i dont play DoNs anymore, dunno if i can still make profit on those cos my game is a littl diffirent nowadays, i remember its watching stacksizes and fold for life Even did fold AA many times preflop, a shame yes but a have to in DoNs.

yes i can see folding kks,more so if there are more than 1 player ahead of you and 2 or 3 players have gone all in,,,also i totally fine ace kind or soooooo over rated,i love when i see alot of players at the table i am playing at go all in with ace king,i just lick my chops when i see that,,,because ace king is so over rated

I was thinking thread was about cash games for first but it's changing to tournaments etc.... In tournaments there is no way I would fold KK even on bubble... especially on Bbl! When bullies push nearly any2. You want your chips to get involved so you can double up. You play tournaments for win not for last paid place.
And about Rush Poker Cash game. Folding KK is sometimes just easy ^^
I have folded KK pre flop, on more than one occasion.
There have to be certain circumstances that would stop me calling.
1) Its getting close to the money 2) My opponent has me covered and would stop me cashing if I lose 3) I have more than 20 BBs and therefore a double up isnt essential.
If all the the above apply then I would consider folding KK.
In fact, I would go one further, I was in an MTT with 30 to go till the money, I was just above the bubble spot and I picked up AA. The player UTG went all in, two players then called his all in. The biggest stack on the table shoved all his chips in and it came round to me. Up against 4 players with AA, I folded......
Sure enough the biggest stack had KK and he hit quads. Had I called I would have lost everything. As it was I folded AA pre flop and went on to final table the game, finishing 4th for $856....
Anyone who says you should never fold KK pre flop is an idiot. If there are 4 players in the hand and you have KK you will lose more times than you win...

The most sensible reply on this thread.
If three players are all in before you and your entire tournament life is on the line, then a case can be made for folding even if you have AA...

Rush Poker isn't true poker either.. In fact its the furthest thing you can get from Poker
Even did fold AA many times preflop, a shame yes but a have to in DoNs.
