I spent the last 2 hours running around like a chicken with its head cut off, in search of a usa freindly poker site that accepts greendot pre paid visas...i was wondering if any one knew of any, or if any one knew a loop hole that i could use... please help lol.... Hopefully someone will help you, but BRM has only a very small USA community - largely since most of the offers here are not accepting US players.. You are probably better off doing a goolge search on how to make deposits from the USA. There's a similar thread on this already.

Don't be so hopefully with changes. Europe is changing but worse changes. Governments want to get more money from sites and they are taking out laws that betting in general becomes not a such profitable business. As an example of that, every year FIFA (Federation International Football Association) is trying to remove betting sponsoring from clubs' T-shirts. In fact, I think that in Norway is forbidden.

sure we like our poker and it can be annoying for some to set up withdrawals or deposits , I have talked about this issue before in other threads so wont go on to long. It is only correct and proper that goverments and other bodies take steps to control money transfers in order to combat the huge problem of credit card fraud and identity theft which is rife in the gambleing industry and online poker especially in the early days before this clamp down. As for betting restrictions I am sure that we are all aware of the problems some people have with gambleing addiction and the suffering it has and does cause to certain members of society, I have seen this at first hand and it is a sorry thing to see people and families destroyed by this addiction. So please stop going on about restrictions and difficulties with withdrawals -deposits , these restrictions are there for good reason, to combat fraud mainly and in a small part which I feel needs a lot of improving to deter incourageing gambleing !! look at the growth in casino, bingo, poker sites, do you really believe all this is for our benifet no it is for others to make money off people who like to gamble, sometimes unfortunately to there cost. The example of Norway is used, good for them !!! I hope they keep it up, deter gambleing and keep it clean.

I agree with much of what you say midnight, but I know for myself it is nice to be able to play on a site, withdraw from a site and then use the money for something without having government getting its claws on it. With the insane amount of wastage, patronage and general incompetence rampant in most governments (here in the land of maple syrup included), with rising taxes and hidden taxes everywhere, it feels good once in a while to circumvent the powers that be with a small amount of money. Black market here is strong and getting stronger due to all of the reasons I listed above. Not that I agree with black market practices but still, once in a while it is nice to do something where our dear leaders are not sinking their teeth into my wallet yet again. The flipside to that is the level of trust in these poker sites is not very high, and in many cases with good reason...

maybe in your backwood this is true here they have to, or they get the boot, now if you had said an individual politician I might of agreed, Serbia if I recall is not exactly well known for democracy and tolerance of minorities, or law

International Court of Justice. Neither Serbia nor Croatia has the ground to accuse the other of genocide, but the mutually echoing lawsuits are a product of popular pressure internalised too easily and one-upmanship let out of control. Josipovic concluded the speculation with the helpful comment that the only way of settling the issue would be for the governments on both sides to address the conditions that led to violence in the first place.

Politics is bad thing and I dont want to argue about it. Politics is guilty for war at first place. I dont think that politicians care about addiction...they only care about money... And you dont have knowledge about Serbia and Croatia to talk about that. Reading articles on UK newspaper and watching BBC is not enough. Tolerance of minorities? I guess there is no national confrontations in countries that are well known for democracy and tolerance? (england-IRA, Spain-Baskia ETA, USA-black people, Cuba an lot of others...)
After all I was talking only about poker...

I think if you look back at your post you will see that you said goverments dont care about addiction only money, this is not a statement on poker and a pretty poor reply to my original post on the problems relateing to fraud and addiction, which was said in defence of tighter laws and deposit / withdrawal restrictions by poker sites , and goverments. I am not going to be drawn into a political discussion with someone whose position is " politics is bad ", without politics even with the burden of bad politicians we would be as well go back to our caves and begin sharpening our spears,,not to mention the countless lives that have been given and taking in the quest for democracy and goverment.
