about 10 minutes ago I registered with **removed**. they also host freerolls on FTP. they have a thread dedicated to freeroll passwords on other sites. they actually allow password leaks! this is how the passwords get leaked. i couldn't believe when I saw it!!!!! what can be done to stop it?

Unfortunally nothing we can do, but the least we can do is not to tell everyone here too I know you just post this with good intentions, but you should remove the site name, as it is also against the rules

there are lot of sites giving away freerolls password (included BRM ones).
what surprised me more is the fact that a moderator in the site mentioned above is also a member here . I wouldn't be surprise he isthe one publishing BRM password there.

I am not going to say his/her/their name (or names ?): He/she/they can do it if considering it appropriate. Anyway agree with shoka, as often happens, and don't think he is the only bad apple: 270K is a huge number. and the late registration do the rest.
anyway watch out: I already have 0.16 pts in the leaderboard
ok, I agree with what you all are saying the fields are huge and some shouldnt be there , but I as far as the leaderboard contest is concerned wouldn't be hard to check to see if anyone in it is a member, yes?
perhaps there would be a way to register for these freerolls like we used to for the saturday BRM freerolls where only players that regged fulltilt through BRM are eligable

if you think that you are the only one who is allwoed to play...is a wrong ideea...how many times we didnt searched the passords disperetaes when the tournaments starts in the next 5-10 minutes....this a good think that we can search the passowrds...thats why is mentioned on the lobby the maximum players to be on that limit....

no you are the one who is completely wrong my friend , there is a reason for which these tournament are password protected. and if you can't understand it just ask and you will be answered.
if there wasn't a password the only limit would be the max players allowed....but there is one
I don't think I am the only one allowed to play, I don't need to think about who is allowed to play and who is not: it is clearly written on the disclaimer of the leaderboard, and I can copy paste for you:
"Everybody can join the leaderboard. All it takes is a free Mob account and an account with Full Tilt Poker.
How to participate
If you do not have a BankrollMob account yet, click here to register a free Mob account so you can participate in our Full Tilt Pokerleaderboards.
If you do not have a Full Tilt Poker account yet, click here to find our exclusive Full Tilt Poker offers. There's a $50 (5,000 MobPoints) gift offer and 27% rakeback deal available. You do not have to make a deposit to participate in the leaderboard, but by signing up to any of the our two Full Tilt Poker offers you will be able to get a great deal if you decide to deposit later on.
Now that you have an account both places - or if you have had that the whole time - you now need to register your Full Tilt Poker Player ID for the leaderboard. Click here to visit the leaderboards page (there's also a link to the leaderboards from within your personal Mob account page)."
I can't read here something like: a) if you don't want to bother to create an account on BRM just search on the net for passwords. b) if you are more clever than the average people here on BRM just steal the pwords somewhere else c) as a lot of people steal passwords for private tournaments just do the same

That happens automatically midnight. anyone not registered and getting points/money from the freerolls will NOT be on the leaderboard. The software sees to that. A lot of non-members have won the freerolls, otherwise you would have more people with 21 and 11 points + on the leaderboard. Nothing to be done about that...
