Four years without a royal flush? How many hands do you play? I've been playing for same amount of time and have had six, with four at NLHE, 1 at Omaha and the sweetest was playing 7studHI. As far as two RF in one day, I once hit 3 straight flush during one freeroll, and missed another by not staying in with my hole cards. Billions of hand played = every possible variation is going to happen eventually!

It is a true fact that you are only as good as your next two cards dealt plus the flop, turn and river cards, this applies to darts, snooker and golf also...

damn near fake money. very low stakes.
------------ wtf? i wasn't bitchin about losing the hand (even tho i WAS the 66% fav. lol!). if anything, i just can't understand how i've never been able 2 hit a royal. i've gotten a str8 flush 2 the king, but that's it. and i've played hold'em 4 EIGHT years!

I haven't been playing all that long, but hit a royal the other day, and then 10 hands later hit a straight flush as well, I was a dealer in a casino for six years and dealt one royal and saw one other. just the luck of the cards

she was playin loose & the rest o the table was trying 2 see every flop, if they could see it 4 cheap. i had almost double her chips so i put pressure on her. i wasn't happy when she re-raised all in, but i was damn near pot committed. plus, i had seen her play sum trash hands like they were sumthing special, & i was at least a coin flip 2 most hands, & like i said, i had almost double her chips. i still think it was the right call. at least i got 2 see a royal. i haven't seen 1 in a while.
@mahdrof : i guess that wasn't a good spot 2 substitute the number 4 instead of the word "for". believe it or not, i've actually been playin hold'em FOR 8 years. 6 of them i saw LOTS of hands. i used 2 play 4 tables at a time 4 a large chunk of those years, & still do occasionally when there's 4 different tourneys that i want 2 play. that's why i'm so mad about never hittin a royal. i wasted a lot of money chasin str8 flushes til i finally hit 1, & then didn't get paid off on it. same thing next few times i hit them. even hit one 2 the king once, but no royal. fml.

That was a very bad cooler, but I have seen many Royal Flushes and I have had 2 in one day. I gave even been beaten with quads vs royal. Anything can and will happen if you play enough hands online. For some reason fish think that A with any other card is a monster when in reality how many time can you be the favorite w A 10? AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 10 10, 9 9, 8 8, 7 7, AK, AQ, AJ. Hell even KQ and KJ are 40+% against it. A 10 is a weak hand and I will fold it under most circumstances. Even AJ is weak. Unless you are on the button or one of the blinds for cheap, or playin a shorthanded table get rid of it, it will cost you more in the long run. Lets say you hit that A. Are yougonna call an All-in if the board reads A 9 J? Probally not and if you do let me know where you play please.

r u talkin about w/ a-j or a-10? w/ a-j i'm callin. i probably wouldn't even be in the hand w/ a-10. the fact that she played the a-10 so strong is y i said she had probably only been playin 4 a few months. a lot of donks even like k-10, which is a str8 up trash hand.
