yes, it concerns me that these bots operate, but as was said by others its something that is going to be hard to stop,, on the occasions that I have felt I am playing one I still play my game, I know the maths , pot odds,EV, so I still play my game as I see fit with the odd donk play to stir it a bit,, but I play low stakes ,, 20$ is about average if am flush, I think the pros and low stake multi tablers have more to worry about from these BOTS

when looking at the poll 3 people think thet using a BOT is not cheasting yet I find no argument explaining why not, perhaps if you voted no you could explain why its not cheating? or are the people who voted no using bots?
Posted by smaffie: how many tables can a human play without a bot???
I've seen this guy on PS playin 45(!) sng's at once, and he was a pokerstarsPRO(boku87). Is this even possible??? i doubt it
It's possible with the aide of a program like Table Ninja, with just the poker app, 45 tables would be difficult.
So what does that program tableninja do excactly,???never mind, some googling told me! I see it makes it somewhat easyer, but this guy on youtube playin 24 tables with table ninja was prrrretty busy allready, imagine double the tables, i would go totally mad(if i wasn't allready so)
I had a google at ninja as well and sure it would help, but coming from a player who finds hard to play 2 tables I would think that even playing abc poker this is as close to BOT play a human could come close to if you get my drift.

But that's just for some people ^^ after a while he got used to... more tables more tables etc... My record is 24 tables on cash only :<

So on Wednesday the 19th May I finally finished the challenge. After a little over 10 months and nearly 45,000 tournaments, my bankroll finally reached $100,384!
It was a much tougher challenge than I expected and I have had to put in a lot of volume lately, but I think I proved that it is possible to turn a very small amount, like $5 in this case, into a very big amount such as the $100,000 I have achieved here, and that it is possible to do that within a year if you put enough effort into it.
The secret to being successful it to continually try to play, always work on your game and try to improve. If you do this, and if you put in enough hours, you also have the chance to build up a big bankroll. That's what this challenge was all about - to proof that it is possible to build a huge bankroll from very small amounts.
Thank you for following my challenge over the past 10 months, and best of luck at the tables!

Question is, where do you draw the line. Porgrams for aid like pokertracker, can put an overlay/hud on the pokerclient to show you stats about each player.
Humans cant memorize stats from thousands of players, so is this cheating?
yes I see your point I after listening to a friend made the mistake of giving one of these programs a go,lol, that was my first mistake after an hour of downloading the software and auxillary software then came the task of setting up, sorry to much for me, I am sure it would be easy for most but my com skills aren't that good, I also remember a time when sharkscope was not allowed on certain sites now its got nearly them all, I also remember the first time I found out about sharkscope in my early online days, it was on VC if I remember correctly and a guy started badmouthing me in the chatbox, then ran off my loseing stats over the prievious week being green I was a bit taking aback and lost for words needless to say when I found out about sharkscope my name was quickly blocked, lol, dont worry about it now ,,,to answer your question am really not sure if the huds could be classed as cheating , BOTS is an easy yes

Since the begining of my online experience with poker that i read many comments about this subject. Some even tryed to identify them and were mistaken and subject kept lowprofile. There are in fact some sites selling this type of software, but i dont know who would try to loose 100$ to see if it is true or a scam, like so many others from so many areas... I prefer not to try. And, if i happen to identify one in a room, i think i will try to refer him in the help section of the room, so they can do something about it. That should be the way to act in this cases.

I have been hearing about these for years and not really convinced they are real. The only way i can see them working well is on a flashdrive site. I think the larger sites like FTP using RNG would make it difficult, but witht he technology today who knows. All I know is i RARELY play in stakes high enough to warrant a bot, so i dont worry about them. Plus i always say a player who plays by the book is easily read. And a bot would play by the book, wouldnt it?

no, it wouldnt, per se. Different random variations can be added, also, a neural network can be implemented by wich the bot would invent new strategies
