It's time for the final table of the WPT Venice High Roller Event. Only 19 players took part in the High Roller event and these are the 8 players that will fight for the first place prize of €70,000 (only the winner and the runner-up will get money).

Yes, 19 players only, what a shame. I don't know but I calculate that the buy-in must be about €10,000, only for winning €70,000 and a little of fame. "Reaching the final table" in a 19 tourney are not news.

It's not easy to invest €10K to win €70K, there are many other tourneys which gives everyone equal or better prizes for much less, although with greater fields. Even though, i think its the 15 minutes of fame for the one who wins, and the 15 minutes of shame for those who loose the entire buy-in...
