Jack Ury passes away at age 97

A legend and world record holder has left us. Last Thursday, Jack Ury , WSOP's oldest participant, passed away at the age of 97 in his home in Terra Haute, Indiana. Jack Ury took part in last year's WSOP at the age of 97 and, once again, he became the oldest participant at the World Series of Poker. I really dont think that is important when he passed away....what is important here is that this poker icon died.... Sad
and i think i'm not wrong when i say that we all hope we will play at his age...we all hope we will find the force to play al 90 yo....
anyway...i am really sorry for this lost and......rest in pease jack!.... Sad

hmmmm so the story is true a member here posted this but most of us didnt believe them,
cause of all the BS threads they have done b4,

I believed him because those news appeared in all the poker forum at the same time. Don't worry because when Doyle Brunson die (I hope he does as late as possible) the whole world of poker will notice it!

That's a video to store and view over and over! Very nice poker moment, almost hilarious to see Ury's figure, typical old man, looks like he doesnt hear and see well Friedlander's hand, and then he shows his 77 and puts everyone laughing and congratulating him. I bet he was like a mascot of WSOP!

It's never old news when someone like Ury dies! Let's keep messaging so he knows how many people adored him as an individual and a player.
