coming from the philippines, i know what people power means. i just hope they use this opportunity wisely. egypt is very important to the peace in the mid east.i just pray that they don't get taken over by radical thinking leaders.
it's just not for egyptians, it's a good day for all of us who believes in democracy

yes egypt is free and I am very happy for the residents of egypt....but oil prices are already down and it is safe to say that the greedy bastards in this world (the usa in other words) are somewhat behind this and already have "bigger" plans for them......

Hey ! Finally - I couldn't believe that guy - How could you even *want* to stay in control of a country that's out on the streets saying that hate you ?
Good luck to them now - what happens next is pretty uncertain.

Iam not sure if this is the right styep for the Egypt. All this revolution started by the fundamentalysts, taking the advantage of what was happening in Argelia and sudan. I think the govermental system in those countries is not the best, but iam afraid that somebody with bad intentions for the country is behind all of this revolution.

I hope Egypt will have a democratic future ...
But who will run the country now ? The muslim brotherhood ? If so there will be full sharia law in the country ... *shrug*
Yeah - And almost no matter who ends up in control - it's bad for Israel - The muslim brotherhood are on record saying they will cease the peace treaty with Israel - and even the secularists have said they will cease trade with Israel..
But Israel aside - for the Egyptians themselves - whether this is going to be for better or worse really remains to be seen.. the next little while will be interesting - the worlds eyes will be on Egypt for sure.
