Try two minutes for me years a back. Seriously. Parked in a zone reserved for residents, walked half a block, rang my girlfriend's front door, she came out and I was already being written up. There was no convincing the guy to let it go either. Angry

Ah... I've got the perfect system for avoiding these kinds of situations; Never get a drivers license! It has worked for me for years now.

And, another +: One is never chosen as the designated driver! This is totally EV+!!

So, you might ask: how do you then move about, if you do not have a drivers license?

Answer: Get a wife that has one! Smile

Foolproof system!

Goddamnit, miss! I am sooo not rich! You could earlier see for your self how skinny my poor cats are! I suggest you deposit some dough to my FTP-account, so I can buy them some food. Otherwise, the kitten gets it! (You have been there before, remember?)

My username is: Total scam artist.

sorry we cant please everybody , just thought it might be fun, so many poker bad beat stories, why not?

------------
to get on the topic of batbeats I found this amusing article in a poker psycholgy lesson online on how to answer a badbeat story

Bad beat stories have been discussed to death on chat rooms and poker forums. A consensus has emerged:

I. They never get you the sympathy you think you deserve.

But there's a deeper story here:

II. Complaining about your misfortunes at the table is likely to backfire and result in more abuse being dumped on you.

The first is obvious. You don't get sympathy because no one cares. Every poker player alive has had their flopped nuts cracked by a two-outer and doesn't give a rat's ass that it just happened to you. I used to get really ticked at players, especially ones who repeatedly tell these stories and, worse, wouldn't listen to mine.

I finally developed a simple rule. I will listen and nod the first time I get assaulted by someone. But that's their only shot at it. If they come back for a repeat performance, I hand them a card that I carry with me. It reads, on one side:
Frederik Lofgren
The look of a man about to earn a new bad beat story.

"Your bad beat story has touched my heart. Never before have I heard a story like that. You have my sincere sympathy. Now f**k off and stop bothering me."

And, just to drive the point home, I flip it over so they can see:

"Pardon me, but you have evidently mistaken me for someone who gives a s**t. Here's a quarter. Go call someone who gives a f**k
