I've seen this term a few times now on this site. "Donk"

I get the feeling it means stupid, but on the off chance I thought I'd ask:
Is there a more poker relevant definition for this term. For example, does
it indicate a particular and bad style of play, or just a bad player in general?

Definition: If a poker player is called a 'donkey,' he's a bad player who makes blatantly bad poker plays. A weak player.

Donkey is also shortened to "donk" by many players to announce that they're playing badly or planning to, as in "I'm going to donk it up tonight."

etc...

@Almonds:

Loved the image! Thumbs Up

Yeah! Knowew that feeling, but I've been on both sides of that table. I rarely stay with 5/7, 4/7 etc. unless suited and got a gut feeling for the flop. Win some lose most that's how it is for me.
Keep playing! It's all we can do.

donks happen- so many hands and so many ranges and styles of intelligence-I just mark them and move on most of the time-then you can punish them later and smile

Try playing games that aren't micro/freeroll - I'm sure you'll find all new ways of losing then.

@ Island Jack:

Thanks, I figured it was short for something and had a more fleshed out
poker related meaning.

Thanks for the concise clarification.
