Blinds are very high when ur HU so yes huge chippy can easily turn into disaster.

Yep, was chip leader (40,000+) with 4 left in a 1$ PLO tourney next biggest stack was about 20,000. Three hands later was out in 4th, not the most productive 4 hours I've spent!

Ouch! That´s pretty bad yep.
But depending on the Blind level, it can happen, so don´t feel too bad about it.
Better luck next time. Blink

Once I came back in a SNG from 75 chips in a 3handed table, eliminated the other shortstack (1700 chips) and then defeated the big stack guy. Huge luck on my favour.

The worst matchup I lost heads-up was of a 9-1 stack ration in my favour.

I have seen worse.. Far far worse.

It was on another forums freeroll, and one player was playing like a loon. By the time the first break came he had 160,000 chips with the player in second place having 30k and the blinds were still only 100/200

The break came, he was miles ahead of everyone and only had to sit out.

After the break he went totally crazy, and within 10 minutes had blown his entire stack, all 160k of it.

If he'd sat out he would have final tabled the game, as it was 8 of the 9 players on the table with him made the final table with the chips he donated. I've never seen anyone blow a stack the way he did...

Have done the same thing to people and had it done to me. Massive chip lead, HU, every all-in I am ahead pre-flop but the cards go the other way, it happens. But when you are the one who stages a comeback, and flip a few much-needed lucky cards, now that is a cool feeling! Cool

I lost something like that... but it was kinda on purpose...
After playing HU in freeroll for 20 minutes which doesn't change anything in stacks I asked guy to go all-in all hands cause it's boring and I also didn't have time to play.
He said ok and after few seconds he had 100 chips left. And magic start... he won all the next hands until he won. We both was like wtf. Anyway wasn't unhappy cause he was kinda nice anyway Tongue just shocked for while.

Like jbrooksie stated above. I've played for 4 hours in some of the FT tournements, both $ and freerolls and been beatout before making it in the pay scale. Also, have finished relatively good for a beginner (3 months) on electronic poker. Still trying to win a money tourney, but no luck yet! Hang tuff and read the Threads. Lots of good info. You'll find BRM members are pretty informative.

26000 : 1000
after one allin
25000 : 2000
another
230000: 4000
:
19 000 : 8 000
:
11 000 : 16 000

So that's only 4 allins and you're behind. As doomdy said - when the blinds are high and it's HU it;s not hard to do.. Catch some sick hands like QQ vs KK or something.. Or just get super card dead.. You need a bit of luck once it get's to HU in most MTT- unless it's super deep stack/ long blinds - but most online formats - it's a pretty quick HU match that is mostly shove/fold
