I realize that at Full Tilt the freeroll is only $50, divided by 153 people. But if this is how your members play them, I'm not impressed. Donkey haven is all it is.
If you don't have a good strategy, and by this I mean making final table. How do you people who go all in every hand, expect to make it to that point??? But at the same time, I do realize that in Russia that's how it's played. Only thing I ever see from Russians is stupid play. Grow up boys. I have been playing "live" poker since I turned 7.
Crazy boys. Seriously not smart poker at all. Fortunately it's everywhere you play. So it's no restricted to just members of this site. I did make $$$$ in my first try here. Should have in my 2nd, but the Ruskies play with no idea how to make a final table. Maybe lessons are in order, lmao...

Yeah, the level of donk play is ridiculous even by freeroll standards (I played freerolls consistently for a while, in the past). I can't play any hands because someone will go all-in and it's wasted chips. Blinds increase and when I have less than 10 I push on a decent hand but you have to be super lucky x4-5 times to survive the big donks who push 76o.

Not disagreeing with you, but sometimes you play the way your being played. I don't have the experie4nce that you have and I've counted on feedback from the good members here at BRM, watchinmg the pros and trying to play the way I'm being played. Probably don't have enough experience to comment, but I've learned a lot reading, watching and listening. Besides the $$ games aren't as bad as some of the freerolls if you ask me. Players have a little more respect in hand to hand bets.

Most freerolls are donkfests, but if most paid places are only worth a few cent anyway, the donkishness will increase. Thats why the Full Tilt freerolls play out that way.

Many people like myself have lots of pokersites. If i want a game of poker, i can almost always find a freeroll staring in the next hour. I think that many who does this just put all in a few times untill they hit a big pot or they dont wanna play that freeroll, they just join the next one. Its all or nothing because they can just join a new one in minutes. And the lead they get if they win a good pot will often get them into the money. And its really really annoying for those trying to have a serious game!!

I couldn't have said it better myself other than to add Romainians to the Russians. I guess they are just after the big pay if they luck out and win. I however am after the top 30 on the leaderboard.
The fact that you can trap them in while behind doesn't make a difference when they constantly suckout with a crap hand. What can you do? Nothing I guess. GL everyone

I have just played my 2nd freeroll on f/tilt and i have to agree that its a total donkfest and every player was mostly russian or eastern europe,i dont realy know why that is but they think if they go all-in with any rag A and lose against a lower pair that your a donk for calling,pmsl!i had to be very patient and just start playing the players aswel as staying tight and playing solid hands,i got outdrawn with QQ against J10 for half my stack at a crucial time in the game,guy hit trip Js all-in for about 70k of my stack and i had to grind my way back to where i finished 16th out of 3290 runners. The hands some ppl where hitting where unreal and i should have at the very least made the f/t,the payout structure is bad considering that i play2tournies for another forum weekly for $300 each and theres only about 60/70 ppl that play them and theres a limit of no more than a cpl hundred players,maybe bankrollmob should consider doing sin similar anyway gl at the tables ppl!

sounds to me like you've got yer head srewed on the right way round, chances are you will get donked at some stage in the tourney, better earlier than later...

If you have been playing poker since you were 7 then you should understand exactly that its poker Donks are apart of the game and sometimes they can help you chip up sure there bad players all you have to do is wait for something decent you cant let another players repetitave shoves put you off your game.
With a little patiance and a little luck freerolls can become quite the bankroll help
