LOL - some people really need to read which forum (section) posts are posted in..
OP: No idea - I wouldn't get too optimistic on the scratch cards.. although - there's probably no harm (aside from the email spam you get) in trying them..

Thanks for the input.
She's not hoping to win money regularly or anything, just thinks they're "fun". That said she would want to be able to cash out if she got lucky and hit a jackpot.
To clarify the math: All it means is that around 60% will finish with around $0.70 (awesome, I know), 20% markedly lower and 20% higher. If she was lucky enough to be higher she would want to cash.
------------ Also, I posted this in the right place . . . . right?

Do it for fun - but DON'T have the expectation of being able to cash out (well - not an easy cash-out) anyway. You rarely get something for nothing. Pokerbonus's work differently - they're essentially a rake back scheme. The No deposit bonuses kinda work in advance though - you get the bonus first - so the poker takes a gamble to start with..
However - should you wish to cash-out a NDB for poker - you can be assured that you will have had to earn AT LEAST enough rake to cover the original NBD - in this sense - they are not giving away any money..
With casino/scratchcard/bingo etc - since there's no "rake" to be earned - they basically just need to keep the money in their system - and hopefully more money to follow. This is not achieved by paying out NDB's hassle free. Some may eventually pay you - I think at the least a real money deposit would be required. Also - check the T&C - you mention she'd expect to be paid for a jackpot - this is probably incredibly unlikely- they'd most likely have a clause against this type of payout - i know ALL casinobonus's do - they cap the amount you can win from a free bonus.

Thanks Jess, I'll go through it and double check. You're probably right about there being a limit. That's usually true for casino sites and scratch cards are pretty much the same thing with a different GUI and percentage taken (4.5% on some, brutal).
Mazas it's always good to know that when I earn those mob points they will be honored promptly, so thanks for that.

Posted by Arithmajik: Hey all,
Just wondering if any of you have cashed out from these sites.
I calculated one of these offers to clear with an average of $0.70 left over (not much I know but maybe if you were one standard deviation up?)
At any rate my girlfreind kinda wants to try them.
Any input?
My recommend would be to not play in this s**t better learn to play poker if u do not, or the worst way may be casino... Scratch cards .... sucks dude there u can win cents and lose a lot of ...

Fackinas . . . .
I totally agree, the ladies though . . . they don't always love the poker (like math and science, just kidding). Getting them to sit down and learn to calculate isn't the easiest thing to do. But she seems to like scratch cards despite their numerous statistical failings.
Hmmm.....LOL,I just tried it, it is soooo boring scratching and doing the whole song n dance over n over again. Not my cup of tea and I saw all these testemonials...tempting indeed,u think they are true?!?!?!

I never tried a scratchcard before, I think if you want to win you must be very lucky. I shall stick to poker, because there you need skills my friend.

Minimouse, the 70 cents wasn't advertised of course. It is the amount you will likely finish with after meeting the wage requirements. It's a statistics thing calculated buy seeing how much you lose on average while playing and how much you have to play before withdrawing.
It is of course possible to finish higher just not likely.

YES!!...I won and cashed out £400 at 'Scratchmania' playing with the £7 no deposit bonus given for signing up. I played the 'Wheel of Fortune' scratchcard.
If I remember correctly the wagering requirement meant that I had to spend 20 times the £7 bonus given (so £140) I also had to deposit £10 in order to cashout the £400

If i remember correctly those sites have very high playthroughs for their bonuses. So i guess the best option is a high variance play. The usual go big or go bust approach. If you hit big, the grinding through the bonus should be no problem.
