I had Chris Ferguson at my table few years ago. Talked to us all for almost 3 hours. Chris remembered me from a game we played, I won a T shirt when he put me all in. Had TT, he had AQ, flop'd the T...

I don't think they're really "stuck-up". I think they have to deal with an abbundant amount of "chatters", and to be "fair", they probably as a rule don't engage at all. WOULD YOU?

I am not the most talkative person in the world either when I play online. The more tables I have going the less outside interference the better. Some pros are okay but a freind of mine know someone who went to Vegas to live off poker for a while, and had the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the big names, and he thought they were pretty arrogant in general. I guess it's like a lot of sports stars - they start to believe their own publicity.

I'd feel privaliged sitting at the same table or catching them at a table when I observe big games so I feel left out. I've never seen any of the big boys play other then on the tube. Maybe someday!

i personally think that the pro`s should have time for `there fans`` they should be willing to say hi or help ppl out. im sure if i was in there position i would at least aknowledge that some1 was talking to me its called having a little respect

I'll say this Durr made a challenge and Antonious and Jungleman took him up on it and the challenge has been going on for over 2 years now. I think Durr should put up or shut up. What kind of marketing is that for FT when he has dragged this challenge on forever it just isn't right,

Damn - i thought this thread was gonna be about someone getting robbed at gun point. Who gives a s**t if they don't say hi to you.. Half the time if they did it'd probably just lead to them getting asked for money anyway..
Not to mention they're sometimes multi-tabling and err.. concentrating.. on poker.
------------ Anyway - it's probably catch-22 - the people they may be interested in talking to - are probably not they kind of numb nuts that try and rail "poker celebrities" to talk with them..
