Kings got destroyed  0
This was in 0.5/1$ blinds full table

two player call 1$, one raise to 6$ before me, I re-raise with kings to 12.50$
Anothers fold, the raiser before me calls. Flop is 638.
I raise to 10$, another re-raises all-in 105.85, I call 29.50$.
He shows suited AQ on turn he hits Q and in river A.
I hate this bad luck.

Did I re-raise too little before flop?

unlucky man. i get the feeling this guy was going to call any raise b4 the flop
with the flop comming 638 and him re-raising that much that he had made his mind up on his hand and he was willing to dedicate his stack to it.
either that or hes a bad player and didnt think about the high pocket pair possibility and got lucky.

maybe he thought he could push u off the pot.

Just got beat out on the river in FT $0.10/Rebuy. Tired of the brave one's that ride me to the river just because they have an A. I only had Q's, but looking good until the river. Glad it was a cheapo game, but some day I'll play in the high $$ games. Right now still learning from BRM and the threads.

Thanks BRM Members

THIS. Well said - I agree - this guy was playing for stacks no matter what you did. UL.

I would have raised more preflop, and bet more on the flop. 10 in a pot of over 25 is not enough and is asking for trouble.

yup that's right. i don't think 10 is enough to drive him away. you just led him to believe he's not that far behind.plus even if he just flat called the 10 and not went all in,with the Q coming in the turn, he isn't going to go away anyway.i think you're really bound to get beat in that hand Sad

better luck next time Smile

Stop min-raising pre and post please, so ugly and so bad.
In this case it doesnt matter problably as oponent wud commit his whole stack with AQ, but in general never do min raise.

i think you played it well you have Ks so you dont want to bet to much in my eyes on the flop anyway maybe a big bet on the turn if you want to shut it down and take the pot but i think you played it fine he did what you wanted, shipped his chips in behind he just got lucky as hell its sick but happens would not worry about it really. also think betting preflop was fine he should of prob known he was beat preflop but he called anyway, betting more than what you did well your just not going to get any action from most people if you raised 15bb or 20 bb and i dont want to just win $6 when you have Ks and guy has $100 when i have Ks i want the raisers whole stack but raising to much all you will get from most players is $6 raise so would not stress you just got a little unlucky hope they hold next time Smile

unlucky deal he really was crazy donkey if u put all 100 $ preflop i think he will call anyway his brains wasnt working and any a in hand he ll probablly playing all in bingo sesion
dont be sad and better luck in future Big Smile

I don´t think it would have made a difference in this case, he was going all-in anyway.
But Doomdy knows what he´s talking about, so remember that. Blink

Wow, that really sucks. >< I lost with JJ, AA and JJ in a tournament today all within 6 hands.I raised big preflop with all of them, and I was only up against a halfway decent hand once. Confused I went from second to nearly out in 6 hands...I wound up placing 14th in the end though, so it wasn't that bad.

Some good advice there by Doomby. But i believe that guy would call anything His mind was in overdrive for some reason just put that aside and move forward.good luck Smile

Most people will not fold an A high. But when they lose that hand they get pissed. Can't blame yourself for their bad play. Never fails to amaze me that donks call with chit and hit. You prob didn't raise enough pre flop, but like Doomby said, guy would call any bet cause he's a donk chit...

well said...this is why i never get pissed so easily with bad beats...
always do what you think is best for the situation.if you get a bad beat, take it like a man.
you always want them to make bad plays Smile

well based on the donk factor after his rr i place him on AA ,AK KK AQ being KK might be out of factor my thought was AA so i might of folded as it is not a freeroll and his and other stack sizes seem high and yes KK is 2nd but they are only 2 cards and AQ is better on the odds side preflop
