Episode 3:
I´m at it again, 3rd freeroll of the day. Going to fold my AK this time to any all-ins and show EVEN MORE patience than I already have.
3.567 runners, of which 3.453 idiots and the rest Poker players.
Well, that was fast! The all-ins still going strong after 1/2 hour, and I just didn´t get a chance to see a flop or anything. Get the impression people are pushing hard for the final day. NO flop at all! Crazy!
Not going to make it this way, I fear. Never been out that fast 2 in row, and it just HAS to be today, the last day of the freerolls.

I'm tired of wasting my time between the p/w leakers and the donks wtf you can't even play poker anymore it's a bingo brawl. Just for example I have AQs blinds are at 100 so I raise 400. I get an all call from a donk with 75 os and the sob wins with a pr of 5's. And closing to all you a@@wipes that give out the passwords thank you very much for increasing the entries to our freerolls.

I just got booted from the 20:00 one in 220th. No worries. We still have weeks before that promo finishes. The satellite was more important for a $22 entry and I got that one.

3.321 runners ....and NO luck at alll! Damn! Just got busted out. Just not hitting that board at all.
Things are just not going my way today. Wish I had played some more during the week. My bad.
2 more to go tonight, but don´t know if I´m going to make it. Really really really really fed up with this ridiculous playing style.
I´ll be glad to get back to some regular Poker this week and play some $11 Deepstacks. At least those people can play, and it´s great fun too. Got some Step 3 tickets ($26) waiting to be used as well. + I need to collect another 350 points on Everest to get my free Holdem Manager. Can´t wait to start using that program!
All things to look forward to this week. Just the thought might keep me going for another one. Maybe....
The thought of sitting through the first 3 hours again just gives me the creeps. From 80 players on down, these freerolls are more fun to play, but you have to sit there avoiding Donk fallout for at least 3 hours to get there. That´s the hard part.
Enough Rambling.
In about half an hour I´ll be taking the last Donktrain through the Valley of Stupidity. Let´s just hope it doesn´t take me to the City of Insanity.

I greatly appreciate all the support I´ve been getting from everyone. It just makes it that much harder to disappoint, unfortunately. I was too confident about making a final table today, and had forgotten that we´re talking about Poker. A very strange kind of Poker.
I should have played more during the week, I realise now. Played on safe. Anyway, no worries, I´ll try once more. At least I can´t fault myself for trying today.

Wow, you getting a free holdem manager, thats great! I got me one about 3 months ago, my play has turned much more profitable. I'm thinking of buying like 10 million hands, but need more money before that, but i'm quite sure it would pay off eventually.
Just didn´t have the patience anymore to play the "super-tight" way that works in these games. Never folded as many monster hands as I have in these Tournaments, and I never will again. I just couldn´t take it anymore. I had to give it an early shot, and it was fatal, as was to be expected.
Oh well. It´ll be 6th place or something for me. From $200 to $25. (I could have earned that in 1 hour in a $6 SnG)
I did it for the win though, but it wasn´t to be. I doubt there will be an episode 6, because that would mean I cannot go to sleep tonight and have to play until about 07:00.
I might still give Party a shot, but then again, I might not. I´m dying to play real Poker again...

After checking the leaderboard it appears you finished 4th, if I'm interpreting it correctly. Look at this way! Your the top player that posts threads in the forum and had a lot of people on your side. Can't ask for much more, but 3 positions, right! LOL You kicked and I wish you luck in the future.

Thanks, but I checked the "completed Tournaments" on FT this morning, and some of the top 10 players finished 1st on friday and saturday night. So I´m moving down for sure, and there will be a new leader on the board. 4th was ok, but I think I will be 6th or 7th when all the results are in.
Doesn´t matter, I gave it a good shot, and that´s enough for me. How many players tried it out in the end? Maybe 20.000 or more, considering the different Tournament times. So that´s pretty good IMO, and I´m happy about it.
Keep on growing, keep learning, and most of all, do it if you enjoy it!
I´ll write a post this week on my experiences with it, not only the result, but you´ll be surprised at the rest I have to tell. It was fun!

Episode 6:
I decided to start anyway. Played carefully, not really getting any playable cards and people still raising a lot or going all-in.
Finally hit a K with K7 on the BB. I check, knowing that the guy who limped in will raise anyway, whether he´s hit or not, that´s what they do in this crazy tourney all the time, no need to raise. He bets the pot, of course, so I raise him. He calls.
Low card hits, board is 9 K 2 4. I check again, knowing he will raise, which he does. I go all-in, he follows. I have K7, he shows K5. River card:.......... 5
There you have it people! The donks win in the end, and the our world is lost.

I have nowt but admiration 4 the way you steadfastly refused to give in to donkmanship, your example is a shining beacon for those of our ilk intent on doing well in the poker scene, yer a credit to yer ma who would be proud of ya....gertcha Jack
