well today i started out with $50 in my FT account. thought id play some rush poker (bad idea) was going well then i lost a big pot went down hill from the kept buyin back in (stupid) an in the end ended up with $2 left. went out for a while came back an thoght id try my luck in heads-up. started at $1+0.10 buy in won a few hardly worth it as only earn 0.90 back. any way i played for a while slowly increasing buy ins. played a $2.25 which seemed to take forever as opponent was so tight so got stupid once again a lost then played $5+0.15 won that winning $10. slowly getting back up currently stand at around $25. carnt comlpain sice i built it from $2.
if iv leart a lesson it would be to stay clear of rush poker.
just thought id post this as i like to read other peoples storys an maybe u would like to read mine

Have a look through the search function about Rush Poker in the forums. Me and some others have done quite a few posts about it. Maybe if you´d been able to read some of those you would have been more careful with your Bankroll.
Rush is a blast....but dangerous as hell! First you start winning and think you´ve got it, and then KABOOM !!... there goes your roll. It really is a "Rush", but too bloody easy to buy more chips.

Knowing when to stop when you are on a downturn is very tricky. Many times I have pulled a losing session out of the flames of disaster, but sometimes you keep going and you just dig the hole deeper. For me, if I am just not playing well, am tired and/or not focused, that means time to do something else. If it is just bad beats and playing outside of my usual style, I take 15 minutes, get a fresh cup of coffee, reflect on the changes to be made, start again and usually do well. GL

i never liked rush poker as my game is based on player reads, and with that thing eliminated it put me at a great disadvantage. but if u can adapt to it and play within ur bankroll, u can surely win lots there.

Believe IslandJack is right about RUSH poker! I play some, but play like a scared chicken since everything in the poker world is relatively new to me. Earned my first $0.90 in RUSH Freeroll and have observed the SNG Rush, but not quite ready. Like Island stated your up, then down, back up then beat up!
