Hello everyone ! This is my first thread in this forum . Try here to post videos with card tricks and pool tricks.Let's see if we discover their secret ) . This is the first video . I think it's great trick, let's see if someone knows how to do it :

It's not a bad trick. I like the set up but it's pretty easy to figure out when you can watch it again. Like most card tricks, it's hard to see first time cos you don't know what's coming up and you don't know what hand tricks to watch for. I won't tell you exactly how it's done but there's something that's really obvious. Don't read on if you don't want to know. He doesn't actually shuffle all the cards. He's only taking from the top cards and so the bottom card(s) are always going to go directly on top of the card you pick. From there it's pretty easy to work out.

ok. I'll tell you exacctly how it's done. I'm not a member of the magic circle and I figured it out myself so I don't think I'm being unethical by explaining this.
At the very start of the video the blue card, (there is only ever one) the 5 spades, is at the bottom of the deck. Directly on top of this is a normal 5 spades. You pick any card and he pretends to shuffle but he keeps the blue card at the bottom so when you put the chosen 8 of diamonds on top he can put the blue card directly on top of it. He then spreads them out and cuts the pack so that the blue card is on top, still on top of your chosen card. He supposedly flips the blue card but he in fact flips over two cards showing you the exact same 8 of diamonds. He then puts the blue card only aside making you think it is the 8 of diamonds. He pretends again to shuffle the deck. Remember there is another 5 of spades that is now on the bottom of the deck. When you say stop he just shows you the bottom card so only the first card you picked was random. Watch the second shuffle and you'll see he just shows you the bottom of the deck.

You're new to this forum so what gives you the right to say what topics we should talk about. Sorry but there is a good reason for the off topic forum here at BRM and many of our best threads are off topic imo. Please don't be negative when people make new threads. We need them to keep this forum active.
Now lets get this thread back on topic.

Yeah I've seen a simular trick using cards that have all the same the backs, but the identifier or pics on the back of the cards are directional. You rotate the deck and when thje drawer places the card back in the back is facing opposite direction whc=ich allows the dealer to locate. It's all good.
