Hey there Mobster's, Finally mad my first cash in a BRM freeroll, got up to 28K in chips early on, couldn't believe the best hand held up in multi-way pots twice! Anyhow I had a live game to go to so I sat out. Went out 23rd for a .10 cash lol. I play better when I'm not playing at all! Anyhow now to get to the fun stuff! I started a cash game last week at a buddies house, they had already played before so I stuck for the most part with their structure. This is a more friendly home game, or at least it was until I came. The minimum buy in was 5$ with a single quarter blind. Last week for my first week there I bought in for ten, and was up most of the night. Alas one of the more skillfull donkies calle a raise I made with 86 off and we got it in with my king high flush draw, only for me to be drawing dead on the turn when he filled up. I ended the week last week down 20$-30$. This week was a different story. I owned the table. I decided that since most players were starting with the initial 5$ buy in, that I would buy in for 5$ and take my chances. I'd love to tell you a bunch of cool stories, but I really just played solid and tight, I won 3 monster pots with kings, beating out AJ, QQ, and a complete bluff towards the end of the night(when you're playing solid and runnnig good they tend to get frustrated and not believe you have it by the end of the night) I also won a substantial pot with QQ when a player called all of money with a gut shot. The best hand held up most of the night and I cashed with 105$ from a 5$ buy in!!! This game will be running weekly so I will keepp you mobster's posted with more stories from my "fishing" trips! WTG hoodi, very nice. I don't have many more points than you, hoping to get in the final table points this week. And I agree with you 100% about writing these kinds of stories. I don't like bad beat blogs. Keep up the great poker play, good luck on and off the felts.

Funny I went and read that right after leaving here. I hate bad beat blogs and don't normally comment on them. It happens to me every day, but I never write about them. That's because they are full of negativity, positive feed back is best. I cashed in the BRM other day on FTP, got 0.33 points. Slowly but surely I am getting my bankroll up from $0. In the past month playing freerolls and a few ring games, I'm up to $7.23. So the freerolls have been pretty good. I find that the Canadian freeroll is best suited for the money. Lowest win is $2.
